The United States of America sends its sons and daughters to liberate Iraq from the clutches of the worst Stalinist monster in the world, Saddam Hussein — a long overdue ousting that should have happened back in 1991 — and our soldiers are met with a mixture of welcome and hatred that has cost over 800 American lives so far.
It infuriates me that we are spending American blood and treasure to be repaid with so little gratitude from a people that would still be fearing for their lives everyday and living without peace, but I have forgiven the Iraqi people their ignorance because they have lived so long under tyranny, they simply don’t know any better yet and that makes them perfect targets to be manipulated by terrorists.
But, then there are people that should know better — that should represent Islam better — and yet the majority of even Internet capable Muslims can horrify a Westerner with their abject disregard for justice and compassion. They readily call Americans “occupiers” and even Western media has started to accept that title for our military. It is ludicrous — the Iraqi people are getting a paid-for revolution, something unheard of in history and the casualties are miniscule compared to anything they might have waged themselves — and yet, just look at how the peaceful flock of Islam behaves on one of their own Internet forums. Yes, there are a handful of Muslims that try to speak out for mercy for the beheaded Kim Sun-Il and others like he and Nick Berg, but the vast majority as you are about to witness, make no effort at all to hide their true nature:
There are the violent Muslims:
Sister, in the eyes of an Iraqi and a real human, an occupier and his ally are one. There is no difference between them. Infact, the latter is worse because he had a choice not to help the occupier yet he chose to help him. He chose to add him self to the list of criminals.
QUOTE
From your definition, all the Iraqi police, those in the new iraqi “government” and all those hired by the army deserve a death sentence too?
Yes. :) Traitors are worse than enemies. If it was up to me, I’de behead them one by one.
There are the typically misguided Muslims with their sights on that imaginary Imperialist power called America:
Salam lateralus, its not my pride, i just feel their actions were justified.. i hate violence i really do, but these guys entered the war, and they have to pay the consequences, its very unfortunate… and i do admit when im wrong, maybe i could say the same to you, you show no understanding to my point of view, maybe i could say you have so much pride you cant admit you are wrong.. it seems i have been accused indirectly of being prideful.
There are the Muslims intolerant of other Muslims who dare to question:
You have no right to call any muslim misguided, maybe you disagrre, but you are in NO position to call another muslim misguided!
There are even a couple of Leftist appeasers from the United States that in typical sycophantic fashion mix right in:
I want Bush to resign. But that’s not going to happen. It looks like nothing is going to happen, in the end. Lately, they are using plausible deniability, basically saying the President can’t be held responsible for what he doesn’t know. That’s such ##. He’s the commander in chief. It’s his JOB to know.
So, to answer your question, I’m even MORE upset about what happened in Abu Ghraib. And it appears to be happening in Guantanamo, too. And who knows where else. This administration is out of control. The best I can do is vote against it November, right now. Which is what I’m going to do. How can the U.S. think it’s way is the best way when we’re guilty of atrocities like these, too? We seriously need to clean house.
And then notice that the thread is closed by a forum administrator on the 10th page, along with a little propaganda of his own:
Killing civilians is prohibited in Islam. IF stands against civilian killings of anyone who does not engage in combat against Muslims, nor serve those combatants who fight Muslims.
However, we in IF would like to see the same interest and attention that members show here, expressed toward Muslim women and children who get killed by the thousands in Iraq, Afghanistan, occupied Palestine, and many other parts of the world. Many Muslims are subjected to levels of rape and torture so horrible that even killing would be more merciful.
We all are humans, and no human life or dignity should be superior or more valuable because of its race or nationality.
This topic is now closed. Thank you for sharing.
Iraqis killed by the thousands? Tortured and raped?
Insane allegations from peoples that continue to live in either the dark of illiteracy or in the dark of their own state of denial. There are not thousands of dead civilians in Iraq or Afghanistan. The U.S. military has gone to ridiculous lengths to minimize collateral damage, but the truth is, it will never be enough for people that continually show their lack of will to find fault with their own belief systems, their own lack of courage to put down their own monsters and dictators, their own lazy acceptance of a 1300 year old religion that has gifted them with little more than despots, royal elitists and tyrants as leaders and a poverty level near the bottom of the international spectrum.
Then when the United States has just cause to remove Saddam, we are attacked with roadside bombs, suicide bombers and have civilians snatched off the streets and discussed as if they were delivering poison to children instead of flour, candy and clothing as so many are actually doing.
It sickens me. Muslims that participate in this level of discussion remove the veneer from their religion and it once again should show the world that to continue to fail to face down the real source of the problem is not going to do much more than prolong the pain and suffering for this planet.
Islam — take a good, long look in the mirror. Do you ever find blame with yourselves?
What the world needs is more Muslims that think like this:
i really dont understand how much hate people can have in their hearts…
if we didnt have this much hate in our hearts…we wouldnt have so much conflicts..especially in muslim countries…look at palestine and israel..for over 50 years they have been fighting…whats the result?….nothing but death and misery…
look at afghanistan….for 30 years of war…whats the result?…nothing but floods of blood…misery and tears…
we are muslims…everyone misuses the word Islam…remember how you guys say to the newbies in the welcome thread that Islam is a religion of peace and love and etc…
but when it comes to the poltical thread…the view of Islam totally changes… :(
and i just cant understand how a human being can be that brutal..whatever that man did….he didnt deserve such a death…
and why should we trust this story….the media doesnt show us the truth…..if we go back to the Nick Berg thread…look at the reactions of our brothers and sisters…and look at the reaction after it was told that it was a fup….
i just hope that Allah swt brings peace to this world..
Unfortunately, there are usually the much more dangerous hidden truths if you just know where to look. Remember this line from earlier by an Islamic Forum administrator?
We all are humans, and no human life or dignity should be superior or more valuable because of its race or nationality.
Yes, not because of its race or nationality — but why did he leave out religion?
If you don’t know that answer by now you need to read more of Foehammer’s Anvil.

Yes, they believe the Rumerville. The voices of the so-called moderate Muslim are smothered by that of the radicals. They say one thing but do another, religion of peace is seen beheading innocent individuals but they justify this. They cry about Abu Ghrabi, the individuals will be tried and convicted, but that is not good enough, they need blood. Michel Moores’ Minutemen blow up other Iraqi?s yet he calls them righteous. They booby trap dead bodies and yet we hear that it is against Islam to mutilate a body. We see Palestinians running around the streets with body part, yet they are innocent. Today we see how they teach the young to copy those individuals that behead the innocent. Is this about resistance against an occupying force or could it just maybe be caused because there is a kufir force on Arab lands.
It’s this very same lack of reason on the part of too many Muslims - regardless of what the actual number might be - that caused 9/11. Osama bin Laden excused that attack because American troops were in Saudi Arabia after defending that nation and freeing Kuwait. Well, we’ve seen the rewards Americans can expect for such assistance.
I hope to live long enough to see the day when all Americans can come home.
Foehammer,
I leave this weekend; will not return for a while. Keep up the good work pressing the issues. That forum is interesting, for you see moderates and radicals arguing with each other. It is enraging and enlightening, for it shows there is hope and where hope lays peace may follow.
BTW I accidentally deleted this commit.
