Moscow, October 18: The current spate of terror attacks in Iraq is aimed at scuttling the US President George W Bush’s re-election bid, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday.
“International terrorists aim to cause maximum damage to Bush…to not allow his election for a second term,” Putin said in a press conference in Tajik capital Dushanbe.
Terrorists will celebrate as their victory if Bush is defeated, he said.
“If the international terrorists achieve their goal and Bush is not elected for the second term, they would of course celebrate their victory not only over him, but also as at least a tactical victory over America.”
I’m a registered Independent, but I can tell you that Putin isn’t lying. Only vote for Kerry if you want to send a message of weakness to the Islamists. They’ll laugh at how much we argue amongst ourselves instead of ending their evil threat. Putting a hypocrit and liar like John Kerry into office would be a reason to rejoice for the badguys. Afterall, didn’t they flourish under the Clinton Years?
