Just think about this for a minute: why is it that the United States is once again on the defensive over an incident that never even happened? What if the toilet flushing of a Koran had actually happened?
How is this any worse than the churches that have been burned to the ground in Indonesia? The thousands of bibles that have been destroyed in Muslim countries with no apologies over the past years, decades and centuries? The continued and almost absolutely tyrannical control that Islam holds over its followers in so many nations in the Middle East — where Christians are not allowed to preach and where in the “holiest” city of Mecca, no person but a Muslim may even enter??
Oh, and let us not forget that the Koran reads like a handbook for anti-Semitism and intolerance and the subjegation of women. (If you do not know this is fact, go to a bookstore or library and start reading. There are dozens of translations available, so ignorance of these facts is no excuse.)
I don’t see anyone in the United States rioting in the streets over these actual blasphemes and bigotries.
Just think about that for a minute.
