We just don’t have the ‘brass’ to do what needs to be done in this country yet. I hate to say it.
We all know what the enemy is. It really couldn’t be more obvious. And yet, the mere thought of rounding up one particular cultural faction in the United States and deporting them sends a chill down everyone’s collective spine.

Almost in what couldn’t be better timing when put in the light of one of my earlier posts this month, here’s the latest from Washington’s Associated Press, with thanks to J. Pinckney for bringing it to my attention:
WASHINGTON - The House on Wednesday approved a constitutional amendment that would give Congress the power to ban desecration of the American flag, a measure that for the first time stands a chance of passing the Senate as well.

I received a link to the following today: Take Back the Memorial. I think the cause is a just one, although personally I would much rather see Americans rebuild the Twin Towers bigger and better than ever as a true testament to the dead of 9/11, the mere thought that the currently planned memorial will be somehow apologetic to our enemies makes my stomach turn. I won’t make this long, but I’m sure any of you that have been paying attention to the news the past few days must be thinking the same thing I have been: has the fuse finally been lit?
As we are seeing more and more evidence of Islamist groups spouting off their hate rhetoric right here on American soil — even desecrating an American flag right in New York City, of all places — the blinders must be coming off a lot of non-Muslim Americans.
