So, by now you hopefully have discovered the new focal point of Foehammer’s Anvil: my map. Wondering what this is all about?
Well, I was inspired by the words of Hugh Fitzgerald in a thread over at Dhimmi Watch recently. He basically put out the idea that someone should build a museum and a corresponding virtual representation of it to show the world what great monuments, temples, statues, artwork, landmarks, cemetaries, etc. have been destroyed by the incursions of Islamic peoples and beliefs. Well, I can not afford to build a museum, but I realized that I do have the means and the skill to create a virtual representation of that very idea.
On the map you will note the Black Flag of Jihad waving wherever there have been notable acts of Muslim terrorism, jihad and/or destruction of infidel artifacts and landmarks. These flags will be added more and more over time as I continue the research necessary, but most notably, I will attempt to put current events into perspective when these parameters apply. So, this map will be a live study of what I am convinced is a war by Islam upon the world; a war that’s ultimate goal is nothing short of the re-establishment of the Islamic Caliphate and the theocractic rule of all nations from that point.
The map can be zoomed. Right click and drag a box around an area or just left click when you see a plus (+) sign over an area. Many cities and points and sometimes regions also bring up information blurbs and have clickable links to places like Wikipedia.org and the CIA World Fact Book.
I will make every attempt to make this map thorough, truthful, educational, informative, interesting and above-all, relevant. Hopefully it will prove to be just one more tool to use in this fight to wake up the world to the danger that approaches.
The Color Key:
This part took quite a bit of work — the Color Key. Instead of staying with a standard continental approach, I wanted to adopt showing the world divided along cultural divisions, for this is going to truly be where the lines are drawn in the future, in my opinion. But I am hardly alone in this idea, and the man most famous for this theory is Samuel P. Huntington. For an excellent breakdown of the “Clash of Civilizations” theory that was used for the Color Key on my map, click here.
Some tough calls come into play here. A handful of nations are so diverse in their history and their cultural/political landscape, that I decided it best to leave them as “independent” nations. As this is an ongoing study, the map will change over time, but as of this writing, the nations on the independent list include: Haiti, Ethiopia, Taiwan and the Philippines.
Technical Notes:
I did not create this FLASH application, but I do create the animated and static icons that you see and I am solely responsible for updating and customizing the content. If you are interested in using this map system, the creator of the basic template can be found at DIY Map. I would like to thank John of DIY for making such an outstanding FLASH tool available to the public.

This is a great idea, I’m going to cross-post it. I’ll have a premalink for you by tomorrow.
