I just wanted to take a moment to affirm my continued deepest respect for the United States Armed Forces, and I wish our men and women in uniform present, past and future all possible good fortune and success. To those that have made the ultimate sacrifice, however, words do not suffice.
With thanks to the folks at ALIPAC, here is a complete list of the Senators that betrayed (the YEAs) this country in the recent vote on S. 2611 (’Immigration Bill’ or ‘Amnesty for Illegals Bill’, take your pick), passed by a vote of 62 to 36:
The List
Did I get your attention with that title? I hope so. I’m convinced that more than 50% of our U.S. Senators need to be ousted from office in the next elections, and passing this Immigration Bill just proves it. Do they have no conscience? Do they think that all Americans are blind and stupid? They are issuing in, or attempting at least, since thankfully this isn’t quite over yet — they are attempting to issue in a change to this nation that will manifest so quickly it will be like nothing the United States has undergone.
You want to protect some portion of this world from the Islamic terror menace and the Mexican invasion? I have the simple solution:
1) Remove Constitutional protections of religious practice with regards to Islam with a new amendment.

It turns out that one of the greatest living authors of our time, Dan Simmons, has published very recently (April, 2006) a fictional journal entry that eludes to very powerful insights into the possible future and our own current reality. He even leaves behind a brief bibliography of the works that he used as inspiration and reference for his little fiction.
You can read the entire piece here, and below is a brief excerpt (with thanks to the Jihad Watch poster Eisvogel for pointing this link out to me):
Nearing the end of World War II, Patton lead American forces through many rural sections of Germany in an allied version of the Blitzkrieg. In many of these towns, Nazi soldiers managed to become insurgents and threatened to become a serious problem. However, Patton was in charge and that’s something the Nazis weren’t counting on. What did he have his men do to any of these so-called Nazi “werewolves” when they captured them?
They were shot.

Not escaping my notice this week, the actions of the Netherlands in ousting anti-jihad activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali from the country, has earned that dhimmi nation an update on my Map of Jihad. The Black Flag now waves over Amsterdam.

The President has finally decided to send troops to the border, but I’m hesitant to get all giddy quite yet. I wouldn’t be suprised if this wasn’t just a move to appease worries temporarily and then push the current bills through the Congress while the attention of the American people is diverted.
And, of course, el Presidente Fox can only whine. Never a worry about what’s best for the United States or Mexican and American relations. Oh, no. He’s worried that his drug exports might slow down or be impeded altogether for a few days.
Those fools and crooks in Washington just keep on trying to pass the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act (CIRA, S.2611). Contact your Representatives today and put in your two cents. If this new bill passes, this nation is doomed.
Excerpt from a report from Heritage:
If enacted, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act (CIRA, S.2611) would be the most dramatic change in immigration law in 80 years, allowing an estimated 103 million persons to legally immigrate to the U.S. over the next 20 years–fully one-third of the current population of the United States.

I’ll admit that I’m new to the whole idea of ‘podcasting’ but I’m learning. Will I ever enter the arena with my own voice? I’m not quite sure. But, until such time as I suddenly decide that I want to allow the world to judge me as much on the quality of my voice, as it might the quality of my message, I’ll do the next best thing: I’m going to bring my readers MP3 format files of interviews and relevant materials from all over radio, tv and the internet (edit: I have also begun collecting videos from YouTube and other sources and posting them here. I have increased my storage capacity considerably, both online and off, and backups of all the videos I post will be kept handy and ready to replace dead feeds should sources like YouTube eventually remove the links).

Yes, that is the question of the day. If you have been keeping tabs on the postings at Jihad Watch recently, you would have been among the first to see the clear, and by more and more correlating accounts, correct interpretation of the Iranian president’s latest letter to President George W. Bush. It follows all the tenants of Islam in its wording to be nothing less than a prelude to an attack; in other words, a declaration of war.
I had the tv turned on tonight and while channel-flipping, I came across a news report that made me stop. It was discussing something about King Abdullah II and then on the screen came his lovely wife Queen Rania decked out in anything but your standard Islamic garb: she was fully dolled-up in Western dress, and looked ready to walk down a red carpet runway at a Hollywood premiere.
And then I saw why.
