Clash of civilizations is an interesting thought. Regarding Islam I can see why there's a clash-it has really nothing to offer the rest of the world except examples of failure. On the other hand Islam sees nothing but success without its god in the infidel world-jealousy helps fuel its jihad. The Muslims know they'll never achieve anything so rather than waste time working hard to emulate Western success they take the easy way out-by tearing down the West to its level. If they succeed one can kiss civilization goodbye.
