Since my short time online blogging, perhaps 3 1/2 years now, I have asked for nothing from members of the “jihad watchdog” community. But I’m not blind to the fact that there is a certain lack of give-and-take when it comes to the players involved. How could I be, when my own readers point it out to me time and again when I least expect it.
Net etiquette is a funny thing that I haven’t really bothered to address before this afternoon, and I’m not going to say much even here, but I want to make it known that the days of my “fringe” warfare efforts are done. I’m in the middle of the pool now, and if the players that believe they have a right to ignore others and not link-share or show much regard for other bloggers think that this will somehow diminish my own message or what I will say in the future as I become more knowledgeable and educated in regards to Islam, jihad, the Hadith, Muhammad and all the other elements involved where we dare to tread in this war of ideologies, then they had better think again. I’m a quick study.
And I’m a little irritated.
And that ain’t good — for the “competition”. So, let it be known, what might be perceived from the expensive leather recliners today as being a voice to be ignored, or worse, openly disrespected — namely me — these “other” bloggers that-need-not-be-named had better remember the days when they first started trying to gain traffic and making a go of it to get this message out. Who did or didn’t help them then? It makes all the difference, doesn’t it?
Speaking of “messages”, I am not happy with the “message” of most sites in the fight against Islamic Totalitarianism, Islamofascism or whatever the hell we are calling Islam today, and I have made open mention of it countless times. And that is why I’ve chosen to go full-steam ahead this year and sacrifice my own safety nets in order to push this project where I know it belongs: to the frontlines. People have heard quite enough of soft-shoe dancing — they are in need of seeing some real tap, and I intend to give it to them. If that in itself is not enough to gain more readers and converts to the cause of Western Civilization, then so be it. I will take that message for what it might entail, and let us hope that that only means the demise of this meager project, Foehammer’s Anvil, and not the end of our civilization as we know it!
Ready or not, here I come. But don’t fret fellow bloggers, I’m going after the Islamists — even though some of you deserve a kick in the ass yourselves now and again.

I am grateful to realize you, Foehammer, are dedicated to TRUTH, regardless of how few seem to realize facts. From my vantage point of 76 years I have seen far too many weaklings standing helplessly in the sidelines while wringing their hands. You are representative of the HOPE I continue to cherish in the name of FREEDOM and COURAGE! The miracle is that you recognize reality, something all too few have done.
For several years, it seems, I’ve watched your wise comments on Jihad Watch, only to see your resolve ever increase. May that always be the case. I thank you.

Yes, Foehammer, by all means come into the center of the fight. This “center,” right now, is not as tough as many of us would like to see it. Too many restrictions regarding saying what is in our hearts as well as in our minds. It takes only a few to change things, if these few are dedicated to prevail.

Exactly right. We have our ’stuff’ and our security, and we all think we risk that if we step over some line, and perhaps it is right, the legals of saying more are well documented in the USA. But for me it is all in the form this takes. They (the muz) must find no small joy when we use the term ‘muslim world’, or adopt their expressions. I for one will NOT do that, for any reason.

You know, a lot of this depends on what state you live in and what self defence laws you have there. I for one, live in Missouri now and we have some very broad laws here on home invasion and self defence. Take my street for instance, here on (1103)Oak street, in Rolla, Missouri, there was a rash of break-ins,but after the new carry laws passed, it is much safer to live here now, at my house on (1103)oak street in Rolla Missouri, the stinking muz are always welcome to visit me, after 7pm, when I’m home. And if there is truly a God in heaven, he will send 1 over to visit me soon, no… 2, at least 2, and I will never ask for nothing ever again. I will never curse, and I’ll clean up my room… and not make any noise, ever!
About a month ago, Jihad-Watch stopped me from being able to leave any replies. Of course, I still subscribe and read Jihad-Watch because of my respect for Robert Spencer and the the great minds replying there. I got a little froggy and described how I would torture a Muslim. It was very ugly and I guess I deserve what I got. I am Scotch Irish, 57 and a Marine Vietnam Veteran. I have had my CHL going on 6 years now. I feel more comfortable with guns around me than not. In other words, I am loaded for bear at all times. I only kept one loaded gun in my truck and a few loaded in the house till I started reading the anti-Jihad blogs. Well now I carry 4 in the truck and major firepower in the house. For me the best offense is a good defense. I shoot rifles and pistols at least once a week.
When I started reading the blogs and learning about the Muslim threats, I tried to share it with people. I have quit that now. I hate to say this but the folks in my American Legion don’t have a clue and don’t want to have a clue. Anyway, what can you do with a bunch of Left Wingers voting for Democratic handouts? It is disgusting. That is the reason I quit going to the Legion. I am tired of wasting my time on a bunch of Hilley socialist jackasses. I would go to the VFW but that’s like Haunt of the Living Braindead.
What these places need is some new blood coming back from Iraq telling them how the cow ate the cabbage. I pray our boys coming back will be the new leadership unlike my generation who have their heads up their rear ends. ACTIVE ROLE I ask you-Is there anything else?
pork4allah: You’ve got the right idea. The one thing to keep in mind though is that going too far over a line on a blog gets that blog unwanted publicity for the wrong reasons. I’m not talking about political correctness here, but just having some tact in the best interests of the fight.
Some people cross the line on purpose in order to paint a blog badly. You accidentally got yourself cataloged by the JW staff along those lines it sounds like. Consider how much traffic JW gets and how much they have to filter and contend with and I think you sympathize with their plight. I go through the very same dance here each day but my traffic is far smaller so I’m not pulling my hair out from trolls, etc. quite as often.
The Western world is sleeping. We are complacent by nature. I wish I knew if we will ever succeed in waking up the dozing masses before tragedy strikes, but I’m afraid right now I simply do not have much faith that wisdom will prevail.
Keep those guns ready just in case.
