I’ve noted recently — since I removed one of my browser protections temporarily — that there’s a very annoying random pop-up window happening on this site. Let me assure you that this is NOT my doing — it is the host of the poll, Bravenet.
Have no fear. When Anvil 2.0 goes live in a couple of days or less, that problem will be squashed for good! I would never subject my readers to advertisements of any kind that detract from your viewing and reading pleasure, and this was completely unintentional.
That said, the popularity of the new poll feature on Foehammer’s Anvil has proven to me that this feature must not only remain, but also be improved upon! So, I’ll have full native control of polling after the the site upgrade, as I will 99.9% of my new network from now on. Any annoyances from that point, I will take full responsibility for, and address very quickly, and though advertising will continue on the Anvil, I have gone to even greater lengths to make it relevant and beneficial and far less annoying.
