Iran gets a warning:
Nicholas Burns, U.S. undersecretary of state for political affairs, ruled out direct negotiations with Iran and said a rapprochement between Washington and Tehran was “not possible” until Iran halts uranium enrichment.
“The Middle East isn’t a region to be dominated by Iran. The Gulf isn’t a body of water to be controlled by Iran. That’s why we’ve seen the United States station two carrier battle groups in the region,” Burns said in an address to the Dubai-based Gulf Research Center, an influential think-tank.
“Iran is going to have to understand that the United States will protect its interests if Iran seeks to confront us,” Burns continued.
It should tell us a lot about the mentality of Islamists when they prod and poke the U.S. Superpower until she gets ready to strike. The United Nations is impotent to stop these escalations and the European Union is corrupted by its own interests, as we’ve already seen from the back-room dealings that helped drag us into the Iraq conflict (i.e. Germany and France breaking trade embargo on Iraq).
So, Ahmadinejad, have you learned so little of the United States? We’re like the bull in the field that wants to be left alone to chew on daisies until you make the mistake of putting a leg over the fence in our pasture and then we charge. It’s not that difficult a concept to understand. We’ve given the world countless historical examples. The American people are running out of patience — but don’t mistake it for being with our leaders — we aren’t that blind. If the emails and comments I receive here on this site are any example, Americans have had the blinders pulled off in recent years; we know where the enemies are and we know this is going to be a drawn-out war.
Fine. Let’s get down to business. Personally, I’d rather sacrifice all my time and treasure to see an end to Islamofascism in my lifetime, then to have to read about the evils of the Middle East weeding their way into Americana and European culture any further than they already have. Islam must not be allowed to destroy the foundations of the free world, and if it takes a catalyst like Iran to ignite the fuse, then do us a damn favor, Ahmadinejad: call in your prophecies and your Mahdi.
Iran’s president believes Allah has chosen him to prepare the world for the coming of an Islamic savior called the Mahdi.
But before the Mahdi’s return, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes there must be global chaos even if he has to create it himself.
Whether it’s his belief that Israel should be wiped off the map, denials of the Holocaust, obsession with going nuclear, or support for radical Islamic terrorist groups, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a man on a divine mission.
More mythology from the massive lie that is Islam to drag the world into another world war. This seems to be the destiny of the world right now, as all the diplomatic efforts amount to nothing.
Heed the warnings, Iran. Stop the madness. Depose Mahmoud Ahmadinejad now and take back Persia for your people and learn to live in peace with the world. The American people would be more than happy to pour our tax dollars into supporting peaceful democracies around the world, but if we are pushed much more, I believe we will fund the necessary security measures and start turning tin cans into tanks instead.
So, what will it be Iran? Your future is in the hands of madmen and Islamist sowers of chaos. Take your future back!
