A New York Post Online piece, BLACKS MAY DOOM BARACK By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN, has managed to annoy me with the following question:
With polls showing Barack Obama winning less than half of the African-American vote in trial matchups with Hillary Clinton and John Edwards, the question is: Can the Illinois senator start pulling the kind of black support he needs in order to win?
Shouldn’t Barack Obama be more concerned with the American vote?
I said it before and I’ll say it again, I do not want to see any President elected in this nation on the basis of his race. There is not a “race ticket” to Washington, and there shouldn’t be — not ever. Sure, we know that it’s supposedly tough for a “black man” to get elected, but I’m not buying that. In the case of Barack, I’m against him not because he’s “black” — I’m against him because he’s inexperienced, Far Left and related to Muslims. More than that last part, I feel his sympathy for the Islamic community will make him someone I can’t trust to do what’s necessary over the course of 4-8 years in the White House when the push comes to shove, and believe me, when it comes to Islam in America, the shoving has already begun. Just look around the Anvil.
Are we electing a President or a color? In the case of Hillary Clinton, a sex?
Start acting and thinking like adults please. We can’t afford foolishness anymore. These times are far too serious, far too perilous.
Obama needs to carry the African-American vote overwhelmingly, while Hillary just has to hold her own to blunt the edge of Obama’s challenge. As one New York black political leader put it, “Obama needs 85 percent of the black vote. But Hillary only needs 35 percent.”
Barack Obama is already out of the race. Or he should be. I’ve already previously detailed extremely valid reasons why and I’ll continue to illustrate and re-illustrate these simple arguments again and again as required.
My number one concern about Obama getting into the White House is that he will not only not do anything to slow or stop Muslim immigration to the United States, but he might actually allow it to increase.
A lack of black enthusiasm could also damage Obama if he fails to win the nomination and wants the No. 2 spot.
Which he should: The job would give him extra experience and give America four or eight years to get used to a black vice president. He’d emerge as the prohibitive favorite for the nomination in 2012 if Hillary loses this year and in 2016 if she wins.
I told you so, didn’t I? They are grooming him for Vice President. It’s a fatal flaw in the Democratic strategy. A Hillary/Barack ticket can not win. If you want to polarize this nation, put those two together. It’s simply, again, overt attempts to place figureheads into the Office of the President instead of truly proven and capable leaders — and in the case of Hillary — it’s more that I want my President to have a soul. Ms. Plastic can stay out of the White House forever. Her plans set back when she first met Bill are so close to fruition, I know she can taste sweet victory already, but the only thing sweeter than that will be when I get to see her give her concession speech.
It’s time to move on past sex and race in this country — past the “minority”, because the time is fast approaching when “white folks” are going to be the “minority”, and then what? Are we still going to play this game like selfish children? Or are we going to come together as Americans and face our future and the terrible threats that are manifesting right in our midst and defeat them as a United States?
We need to start learning from our mistakes and our history. We need to grow as people and be smarter and more mature.
We need to elect a President, not a wish or an idol or a color or a race.
And most of all, we need to start being Americans and not some multicultural mishmash of twisted visions and hidden agendas. Our enemies from South of the Border and the Middle-East are already playing tug of war with our multiculturalism and winning. It’s time to tug back harder and pull together.
Pun intended.

Nowadays, people vote for the most popular or best looking candidate regardless of qualifications. Let’s face it, Madame Mao (i.e. Hillary C.) had no business being elected senator-she got in because of her name and the fact that New York City always leans left (Hitler would win an election there if he ran as a Democrat). Obama, like Clinton, has no business running for president-they’re novelties, they know it, and they figure they can win because voters love novelties. If they get to Washington we’ll all be in big trouble because as dreadful the quality of politicians has become in the last twenty years these two will set a new standard for the depths of disaster. I hope Giuliani wins-this is someone with a proven track record. Any Republican who can win two terms as New York’s mayor and clean up the mess that city was for decades MUST be good.
The ironic part is that Giuliani had to drop out of that Senatorial race in NY due to his health. Hillary wouldn’t have had a snowball’s chance in Hell of winning otherwise.
Giuliani is due and Hillary needs a dose of humility.
Barack simply needs to thank his lucky stars he’s a senator and work on proving to me that he’s trustworthy and not going to sell us all socialist plans and hand out green cards to Muslims.
I also hear Rudy is a pitbull in an election. That’s exactly what Hillary isn’t going to want to contend with — someone stronger willed than she is. That’s one of her only strengths and if she’s outweighed in that, she’s dead in the water.
