Five minutes enough to devote to the most dire issue of our age?

Well, I tuned in to Hannity & Colmes tonight to watch what I thought was going to be a segment worth watching about the revelations coming out of Britain recently in regards to the ‘Undercover Mosques’ tapes that have been seen here and on YouTube and UK television.

What I got was perhaps 3 minutes of video footage from those tapes, followed by five minutes with the knowledgeable Daniel Pipes.

Now, I have to ask you: is 5 minutes enough time to talk about the most dire issue of our age?

When newscasters will devote 2-hour specials to trapping pedophiles on camera or interviewing celebrities, we have the vast majority running scared from the truth about Islam. Is it any wonder that I do what I do? I don’t have a damn choice.

Think on that.

Nobody wants to talk about Islam for several reasons. First, it’s the religion of peace and PC dictates that this is the only thing that can be said about Islam. Second, the topic has no T and A value-plenty of people might tune in if the topic had sex appeal. Third, most people have returned to the pre-9/11 mindset and are not interested in learning about something as “boring” as Islam. We’ll need something worse than 9/11 to grab people’s attention and that is regrettable.
