Ok, let’s talk turkey this morning. I mean, really, this is beyond tolerance for me anymore when I heard rumor yesterday of this:
BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) – The United States insists a radical Shiite cleric is in Iran despite denials from Muqtada al-Sadr’s supporters.
U.S. military spokesman Maj. Gen. William Caldwell reiterated on Wednesday that the United States believes al-Sadr is in neighboring Iran. Caldwell declined to speculate on what would prompt al-Sadr to go there.
But an aide close to al-Sadr said Wednesday that the cleric was in the holy city of Najaf, about 75 miles (120 kilometers) south of Baghdad, where he lives.
So, al-Sadr flees to Iran, no doubt with Iran’s help and the aid of some of the Iranian military that Ahmadinejad just recently denied have been helping kill Americans with roadside bombs. He flees, again obviously, to avoid the new crackdown by Allied forces in Iraq and around Baghdad.
Even if he were in Iran, as Washington asserts, it would not be unusual. Al-Sadr has made a half-dozen official trips and an unknown number of personal trips to Iran in the last few years.
“Not unusual” the report says, but isn’t that interesting that al-Sadr has been so hob-knobby with Iran all this time. Is anyone connecting the dots like I’m hoping you are as I write this.
Senior administration sources said they believe al-Sadr left in anticipation of the U.S. military increase and subsequent crackdown on militias and because of splits with extremist elements within his militia, the Mehdi Army.
You bet he left. He’s directly responsible for ordering the killings of hundreds of U.S. troops since the beginning of the war and he’s been getting direct aid, direction and bombs (and very likely anti-aircraft rockets, too, as we have seen in recent weeks from the flurry of helicopter shoot-downs) from Iran ever since the start of the Iraq liberation.
The U.S. Marine Corps believes a downed American helicopter was most likely shot down by insurgents last week in Iraq, a senior officer said Tuesday. The Marines initially said that the CH-46 helicopter went down because of mechanical failure, but they changed their minds after reviewing a “very convincing” video posted on the Web by insurgents, the Marine officer said.
See, that recant by the U.S. Marines was no surprise to me. When you’ve been watching things this closely this long as I have, you start to read between-the-lines.
Now, here’s the turkey part I promised. What is this all really about? That’s so painfully simple and it’s at the cost of the United States in blood and treasure and it will eventually cost even more.
This is about Iranian nukes.
This entire conflict has been encouraged to go out of control by Iranian, Syrian and Saudi conspirators, sometimes together as an Islamist front, but most often times separately by everything I’m able to rationalize by this point. The reports speak for themselves if you just keep an open mind and a wide field of view on the world. But the outcome for U.S. and Allied forces in Iraq comes out the same — needless deaths at the hands of jihadists that are being funded and fueled by Islamic states. For Iran and Syria’s part, this is without doubt, all an elaborate way to diffuse international attention to the Iranian nuclear program and its end-game goals, which are, to proliferate nuclear devices to Islamic terrorist groups to be used against Western and non-Muslim nations.
I was calling for al-Sadr’s head on a spit years ago, and yet the U.S. military made a cardinal error in allowing him ceasefires and didn’t hang him from the nearest bridge like he deserves. One of the oldest tricks in the Islamic handbook of war, you had better start to recognize: truce to Muslims is just a way for them to rearm and come back to attack another day. It is never a road to peace. Need proof of that? Then just remember the Israeli conflicts with the Palestinian Hamas terrorists and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Think any of those stops and starts to conflict have ever lead to real peace?
And now al-Sadr has escaped once more, and this time, to the den of evil in the Middle East: Iran.
Iran is constructing the finishing touches on a massive nuclear program (by Middle Eastern standards anyway), and they claim over and over that this is all for peace, while at the same time, evidence of Iran’s culpability in the deaths of so many Allied troops in Iraq keeps pouring in. And then let us not forget that Iran has had its fingers dirty for so many years, that we have little doubt that they are funding groups like Al Qaeda and more. There have even been reports that Iran was involved in helping plan the attack on 9-11!
Iran has long been known to be foehammer.net/2006/04/world-terro...ill-14600-in-05-terrorism.html\">the world’s largest exporter of terrorism. Why then do organizations like the United Nations continue to give credence to anything that these maniacs say on a world platform? Like, for instance, when Ahmanutjob made his speech before the UN assembly in 2006. It is because this isn’t a conflict wherein we can trust the Arab Muslim states to do right by us. We can only expect them to do more damage and most of it in secret because they fear the full force of the U.S. military. We aren’t dealing with fools or idiots. These plans are cultivated in Islamist meetings year-in and year-out and at the expense of the non-Muslim world. They play the United Nations like a fiddle and now we are faced with a nuclear Iran.
A nuclear Islamic terrorist state!
Bomb the Hell out of Iran. Isn’t it clear enough by now? We are at war with the Islamic world, which continues to ply its deadly trade right under our noses and so many Muslims must be laughing at us as we try to rebuild Iraq despite the continuous efforts of jihadists to stifle our every move. And all for one now obvious goal: to divert us from stopping Iran’s pursuit of the nuke. Through destroying our will at home because of our Democratic ways and our suffering because we value life, or by actually killing our troops with IEDs (improvised explosive devices), it’s all the same to the Islamists like Ahmadinejad — to bring forth the New Caliphate, usher in an era for the Mahdi (a Muslim messiah figure) and then ultimately, destroy Israel, eradicate the Jews, turn Europe into Islamist nations and then finally, turn their full wrath upon the “Great Satan”, the United States of America.
I don’t know how to connect all the dots and talk turkey any better than this, folks.
Iranian nuclear facilities must be destroyed. Now. And Muqtada al-Sadr, Ahmadinejad and all their ilk must be opposed by the U.S.A. and its people for what they all are: representatives of Islam, and it ain’t the warm-fuzzy Islam that President Bush attempted to show us in the Cathedral in NYC after 9-11. I think the majority of us understand that farce by now.
Get ready for the conflagration, because if we refuse to accept war with Iran today, we will be fighting a nuclear-armed Iran tomorrow. And the blood that will spill will not just be on foreign shores, but it will come to roost here at home, in the good ole U.S. of A. for all of us to witness and many of us to actually suffer directly by. Our own media and entertainment and the books we read are warning us daily, much like Clancy’s novels mirrored some of the events on 9-11, fiction will become reality if we do not possess the wisdom and strength to stop the madness now:
Nuclear terror in the United States. This is the goal of Iran and this is why Iran must be attacked.
Can you deal with reality, because even today’s fiction is showing you the possible real future, and Jack Bauer won’t be around to save any of us.

This dirty dog should have been zapped long ago. Failing that, a nice QUIET effort should have been made to at least capture him (although I favor zapping since it’ll discourage kidnappings in order to trade for him). Nope-Bush blabs all over the place that a crackdown’s coming soon so away to Iran goes the dirty dog and who knows how many other vermin. We really need to quit telegraphing actions-just spring them on the filth for maximum effect.
As for war with Iran I think one morning we will wake up to the news that Iran has been attacked. When it happens I just hope the criminal regime gets decapitated and Iran’s “peaceful” nuclear project is neutralized. Then it’ll be up to the Iranian people to take care of themselves and if they are foolish enough to continue Satan Khomeini’s insane revolution then I guess a longer and stronger message will need to be delivered.
I am not so sure any longer that we will do what is right in regards to Iran before it gets nuclear weapons manufactured. Much is going to weigh on who gets elected in 2008. It will be insanity if we go that long before real military force is levered against the regime in Iran, but if I was a betting man, my money would be not before 2008 for any real response from the U.S. military unless we are further provoked in an overt manner before then.
Knowing what I know about the Islamist mind, I doubt that we will see any massive terrorist attacks prior to Iran producing a nuke. All the Islamic factions allied against the West know the value of that power and will do whatever they can to safeguard that production because they have never been this close before. Whether via United Nations manipulations, lies, treaties to be broke, oil brokering or Washington lobbying to throw off the scent it will be smoke and mirrors, smoke and mirrors until the Islamic bomb is in the hands of the terrorists.

Yep, you’ve been in my Blogroll for a good while, Sheik.
I edited your link and it’s still drifting off the page, so I’ll shorten it. I hadn’t noticed that problem before. I think it will prompt me to add more tools to the comments section for my users. Some built-in editing/link tools, etc.
