The reason why the document had Obama listed as a Muslim

Islamic madrassa or mixed school?
Following up to my article from January 30th, l just can’t stop going back to this Barack Obama story, because I’m thinking the man ‘Doth protest too much’.

From a FOXNews.com report published January 24th, referenced mainly for quotes I’ve seen everywhere:

Iis Darmawan, 63, Obama’s kindergarten teacher, remembers him as an exceptionally tall and curly haired child who quickly picked up the local language and had sharp math skills. “He wrote an essay titled, ‘I Want To Become President,’” the teacher said.

I’ve coined a few bits of wisdom in my day, I’d like to think. One of them is: ‘Don’t trust people that smile too much.’ Well, here’s a new spin on that old saying: ‘Don’t trust people that want to be President of the United States when they are kids.’

Ok, I’m kidding. But not entirely.

Obama’s mother, divorced from Obama’s father, married a man from Indonesia named Lolo Soetoro, and the family relocated to the country from 1967-71. At first, Obama attended the Catholic school, Fransiskus Assisis, where documents showed he enrolled as a Muslim, the religion of his stepfather.

The document required that each student choose one of five state-sanctioned religions when registering _ Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Catholic or Protestant. Gibbs said he wasn’t sure why the document had Obama listed as a Muslim.

Oh, please. Please. Please.

Anyone else lifting an eyebrow at that last ridiculous statement from Obama’s communictions director Robert Gibbs?

Let me spell it out for Mr. Gibbs: Obama was listed as a Muslim because his father (yes, tell us step father again — that doesn’t matter to a school master at a madrassa, secular school or otherwise) was a Muslim. Islam is infamously patriarchal in nature, even misogynous. So, in a nation that is 99% Muslim like Indonesia, does anyone really expect me to believe that nobody is “sure why the document had Obama listed as a Muslim” at the ages of 6-10 years old?

“Senator Obama has never been a Muslim,” Gibbs said. “As a six-year-old in Catholic school, he studied the catechism.”

The Illinois senator is a member of the United Church of Christ.

Never been a Muslim even though his step father was a Muslim when he was entered into a school in the most populace Muslim nation on planet Earth? With my apologies to John Stossel: ‘Give me a break!’

And what of the fact that Obama is, by all accounts, a Christian. What did I say before in my previous article — it doesn’t matter. The damage has been done. The argument from my standpoint is clear as crystal in this regard: ‘If there are doubts, then you’re out.’ You can coin that one from me, too, if you wish.

The doubts are enough for me to not want Barack Obama anywhere near the White House as a Presidential or Vice Presidential candidate. I don’t want him there as a Secretary of State, Defense or even Agriculture. I am not even content with him being a U.S. Senator, but I’ll accept that much. But the fact remains, his contact with Muslims in his personal life is enough for me to have to acknowledge that the danger is real — in a world where we have evidence of the cunning and deceit of Islamists all around us, we should not be so quick to put our nation’s highest seat into the hands of a man who’s own step father is a Muslim and one who attended a majority-Muslim school in the most heavily populated Islamic nation on earth for 4 years.

Really, people, what more do you need to hear. Can you be so in love with the idea of Barack Obama that you’re willing to toss away the sanctity and safety of the United States on a whim? I’m not.

Islam shouldn’t even be a legalized religion in the United States, but it’s here and probably not going away. But I’ll be damned if I’m going to let Muslims into our political system more and more because men like Barack do damage control for themselves and at the same time tone-down the threat of Islam’s polilitical ideology, even if it might not be intentional.

The damage has been done. You’re out of the race, Barack. Get over it: I wanted to be an Air Force fighter pilot when I was a kid. Didn’t happen either.

You’re an American? “Islam shouldn’t even be a legalized religion in the United States”. Traces of communism, or maybe facism in your rhetoric… Wasn’t this country founded with religious freedom as a core principal.
Shouldn’t familiarity with Islam be a positive, and not a negative in the current climate of the world, especially on a political level…
    Or maybe ignorance is bliss…

    Out of the race?

I have a hard time understanding the confusion about a six year old listed as any religion. No child is Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, etc. Religion, unlike race, is a choice that is made by an individual at an appropriate age.

The Moonbats have found the Anvil. Excellent.

@Oliver Moore: Yes, I think it’s pretty obvious I’m an American, but thanks for asking. How about you go study Islam, read a Quran (I have), and then you should come to understand that Islam’s “core” is a political ideology/theocracy with more “hate rhetoric” in the pages of the Quran than you’ll find in any other “holy text”, and not only is there no separation of Mosque and State, there’s no place in its already “fascist” dictates for anyone with your outlook on the world, or mine.

But I’m sure you’ll continue down the road of stone-flinging without actually educating yourself, so I’m probably wasting time typing.

Heather, not according to Islam. Islamists firmly believe that we are all Muslims just waiting to be “reverted”. That isn’t a typo. There are no Muslim “converts” only “reverts”, and that is how they look at things.

    Need examples? Fine.

Foehammer, everything gained via indepth research into your words brings me to strong agreement with your stance. It is mind-boggling how few people recognize the depth of Islam’s penetration into every locale, every law, more’, every belief system existing in the territory they, radical Islamics, utilize for their own advantage. Note the comment above pertaining to what can only be termed as a non-recognition into the depravity Islam exhibits against the innocence of childhood, so important in Western society - the commenter seems to apply our Western standards onto that existing in Islamic thought, not recognizing Islamic thought is totally and completely blind to any thought process differing from their own! Another commenter bleats about our core value, Freedom of Speech, as seemingly existing in Islamic thought - it is such blindness that Islamics so easily use against us! Islam is not a religion. It is an ideology having nothing to do with religion. I greatly fear for Western society, which is blind to Islam’s totally lacking in any standard whatsoever that is possibly linked with Western values or thought! About Obama: WHO and/or WHAT is backing his rise in the U.S. political arena?! He, alone, like any other senator or public figure, would never have risen to this height of political position solely on his own merits! Some influential “force” is elevating his rise and for some purpose I dread considering!

Yes, Sheila. What you have commented upon is what many have phrased as “Defending the Enlightened Barbarians”, which basically implies that since anything outside our own civilization, as we know it, has not been tarnished by our own “evil ways”, they must be somehow superior to us. The Moonbats are purveyors of this twisted logic at almost every turn, wanting to bring the “enlightened barbarians” of Islam into our midst to somehow teach us a better way of living.

    Crazy? I think so.

I don’t think Obama will make it regardless of his “religion”. He’s still a relative unknown. Hillary will steamroll all opponents but hopefully will lose the election
provided the other side puts up someone people know and somewhat respect.

Well I hope and Pray that Obama doesn’t go anywhere else in politics than where he is now. The United States does not need anyone with even a hint of being a Muslim in any office. They should throw him out of the office he is in now! :) God I pray the American public wakes up and sees who he is!
