I’ve never met the man behind SHEIK YER’MAMI face-to-face, but he’s a compatriot of mine from the Jihad Watch comments forums which have given rise to many would-be defenders of Western Civilization in recent years, myself included. So, when the Sheik informed me that he’d been outed from behind his pseudonym by a deceitful Australian journalist, I took notice. After all, I myself maintain my anonymity as a closely-guarded secret because I’m all-too-aware that defying so many Islamic cultists can have tragic consequences. One might hope that followers of the Religion of Peace® might let me live for ridiculing their ‘Prophet’ and stomping on the Qur’an, but alas, this is not the case.
And reporter Gavin King of the Cairns Post can not pretend to not understand this dire point or he might as well turn in his Press Pass today.
Sheik Yer’Mami provided me with the following email he received from Mr. King, which is the only reason he agreed to an interview in the first place:

“Your name can remain anonymous in the article if this suits.” So much for that promise. This turns out to be nothing short of a journalistic hit-job.
If you read through the type in the scanned newspaper article above, you will clearly see that Gavin King names Sheik Yer’Mami, attempts to paint him as some hysterical inciter of violence against Muslims and then continues merrily on, all the while having put this blogger’s life and the lives of those close to him in jeopardy.
And so I blog on this today.
I contacted Mr. King two times via email and gave him a window of four days to respond with no result. I am now going to assume that silence is an admission of his guilt in outing Sheik Yer’Mami. I find this act reprehensible, traitorous, dhimmi and any number of other adjectives I’ll choose not to type publicly.
Gavin King — you and others like you are worse enemies to your own Western nations than the Islamists. You are cowards, liars and opportunists. I’m calling you out. I want the entire Blogosphere to make an example out of you, self-righteous betrayer.
So, I’m going to politely ask readers to click on that Digg button on the bottom of this article. Get the word out. Make some noise. Because if we allow the Press of any Western nation to operate without consequence for being dhimmified, then we do nothing less than invite our own doom and the hurts upon our own loved ones. And all because some people have the courage to stand up and yell the truth when 9/10ths of the planet buries its collective head in sand.

I agree, and I’ve already put up with more than I should have from a few other trolls in recent weeks. @SteveL: You have touched on something very important and a subject I’ve tossed around with one of my own family members for several years now — that the Common Man just won’t get behind this conflict until it lands like a bomb in his own backyard. I won’t let that knowledge make me hesitate though, because this is how all wars involving the United States have evolved. It took a long time for a majority of Americans to support the Revolution, so with all the lies and deceptions coming out of Washington DC and the Liberal Media and Islamist groups like CAIR, it’s to be fully expected that getting the truth out will be rough and difficult. However, as my own roots are blue collar going back to coal miners, I know that I relate on every level and that it is the spirit of the working American that must be awoken for the USA to emerge from this challenge the victor.
As to the comments of someone like that man looking forward to “take back” the USA for Africa, I would just laugh at him. That is an incredibly absurd statement and brings up a whole range of issues that still exist, not the least of which is the fact that racism goes both ways.

I was displaced by the Muslims in 1878-79 while I lived in Dearborn Michigan. And now they are using Islamic law to self-govern the entire Muslim population of the Detroit area. And you point out the fact that this has been a violent struggle between 2 conflicting ideologies. But now, I feel that has become a class war, and not just some battle between Intellectuals vs. religious Lunatics, as most poor and working poor see this. And that tends to be the real problem, gaining support from the masses.
I have asked around 100 or so working class friends, and co-workers how they see this struggle. And their reply was a real surprise to me. At this point most of them feel un-affected by the battle between the Islams and the Western World. And to my amazement some even vowed to join in the killing of whites in the USA, as a way of getting back at us for past injustices. I spoke with one black guy in Portland OR last week and his reply was that he cant wait for the war to start, so he can join in the killing, and take back America as an African nation. I didnt really understand his reference to take back, but I didnt need to argue, but just learn, so I said nothing. Most of the opinions from Whites have been from so what to who cares, and It wont make any difference to me and Bush, Chaney and Halliburton have just looted the country anyway. So to them it may just look like a fight between the Wealthy Big Brains and the Religious Small Brains and for that they could care less. And you must admit that it has been the freedoms we have enjoyed for 2 centuries that is under attack, and not the every day worries that the common person will face.

It should be mandatory that people who are in charge of running newspapers, even regional ones, have some kind of standing in society. This, for strange reasons, is not the case here. I will try to find out who the guy is, but I know already from the (unsigned) moonbat editorials that he is a politically totally correct jackass just like Gavin King.
