(WASHINGTON, D.C., 3/10/07) - A prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group today called on the FBI to investigate vandalism at an Idaho mosque as a possible hate crime.
The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said stickers bearing Nazi swastikas were recently plastered on the Islamic Center of Boise.
“Americans of all faiths should be concerned whenever a house of worship is targeted by hate,” said CAIR Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper. “We call on the FBI to add its resources to those of local law enforcement authorities so that the perpetrators of this apparent act of religious intimidation may be brought to justice.”
Funny that this “concern” for “all faiths” is so vitally lacking in Saudi Arabia near the heart of Islam itself, in every Muslim majority nation on earth and especially in Mecca, the capital of Islam, where a non-Muslim can not even walk without special consideration from the Saudi elites.
Hooper said there have been a number of similar incidents of vandalism targeting mosques nationwide.
CAIR, America’s largest Islamic civil liberties group, has 32 offices and chapters nationwide and in Canada. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.
Mosques getting vandalized? Could it be that Americans are starting to act out instead of just talk in whispers, or in aggravated diatribes online? God forbid anyone actually take a stand against an ideology of hate that seeks to masquerade as something else altogether. CAIR being described as “a prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group” was enough to make me burst out with laughter. ‘Islamic’ and ‘civil rights’ used in the same sentence is the height of absurdity.
This is indeed laughable. If a synagogue is attacked in this manner do we hear from Iblis Hooper and his ilk about it being an attack on all religions? Of course not. Once again Islam is a chameleon, shifting into its “we’re one of several religions worthy of protection” victim mode from its normal mode of the one true faith (in reality, the most aggressive totalitarian philosophy) that MUST dominate the whole world. Absolutely sickening how CAIR and its siblings get not only coverage but sympathy when throughout the world the houses of worship from all real religions are attacked by these “victims”.
