Ok, I got busy and I’ve surprised myself this time. In order to prepare my Flash movie ‘Refuting Islam - Part 1′ for migration to YouTube, I realized that it would be necessary to create original music in order to prevent an excuse of copyright infringement being used against me in order to have the movie unduly removed, as happened recently to Nick Gisburne and his anti-Islam video.
Now, this is the very first time I have ever composed a piece of music alone, and it is certainly the first time I have ever attempted an orchestral work, because that’s simply the flavor that I was inspired to do and I felt it would compliment the ‘Refuting Islam’ without completely distracting from the reading. I’m proud of the results, especially considering how fast I completed the composition, but you be the judge. The bottom line is that now it’s original music, no copyrights are involved (other than my own), and I can move on to the next stage of converting the video for inclusion on YouTube. This will give me a much needed presence there so I can get my message out to a far wider and diverse international audience.
I decided to name the musical work ‘America Awakening’, which represents what I hope is the state of the United States right now as we learn more about the ‘Long War’ with Islam and embrace the brutal reality that we are going to be in this conflict for generations, not years. I’ll let the music “speak” for itself and say no more.
UPDATE: I have further improved the instrumentation and dynamics of ‘America Awakening’ and incorporated this into the “final” version of ‘Refuting Islam Part 1′. I also have softened the overall volume of the music by another 15% since I feel it was still perhaps a little too loud for “background” music. (I am considering releasing an mp3 version of this music to help raise funds for the Anvil, at a later date. This would be for full listening pleasure and not reduced in scope, dynamics or volume like the version in the video.)
So, here it is, the very latest incarnation of ‘Refuting Islam - Part 1′ featuring ‘America Awakening’. Enjoy:

The enormous scope of this in visual and audible stimuli is almost beyond comprehension - the Horror of Islam itself pulsates through your musical composition with the Anvil striking sparks to fly in all directions while emphasizing specific horrors! With this cosmopolitan musical score all emotions elicited by the subject strike incredibly deeply into one’s very soul only to be broken by sounds of the soul’s torment! Dante-ish? Yes! Descriptive? YES! A remarkably illustrative “journey” via the deepest emotions being enormously effected in sight, in sound and in Soul-pain!
I can’t think of adding anything to what Sheila said . . .ditto.
Amazing work.
High praise form both of you. Thanks very much.
Now I’ll have to compose new music for each video though. To do less would seem, well, less…
