Let’s play a game. I’m going to try what 9 out of 10 Americans do so well — today is unofficially ‘Ignore Islam Day’ on the Anvil. I will not write another line here. I won’t work on my network of sites. I won’t check my email. I won’t watch the news or take notes from syndication feeds. I won’t travel the Blogosphere.
And tomorrow I will count up how many people died on this Friday, March 16th as a result of Islamic terror and crime. If it comes out to zero then I will have found the cure.
A non-Arab Muslim declared to me this morning that Islam does not kill people, that Islam preaches only peace and understanding, that I should go study the works of Islam because I obviously have not, he said. So, I want to try to live in the world that this person does, a world of absolute blindness and denial.
I’ll take one day off.

Sorry, but I just couldn’t ignore good old Islam. I like how that goofball declared that Islam preaches peace and understanding. It might preach that, but it sure as hell doesn’t practice it.

It doesn’t preach peace. Don’t take my word for that though — let’s read from one of the most respected Islamic clergy who’s face you can find on the walls of mosques and madrassas across the globe, even in the United States:
“Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless. Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does this mean that Muslims should sit back until they are devoured by [the unbelievers]? Islam says: Kill them, put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]. Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to Paradise, which can be opened only for the Holy Warriors! There are hundreds of other [Quranic] psalms and Hadiths [sayings of the Prophet] urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Well, it does preach peace at other times in order to fool a lot of people much of the time. Any way it’s looked at, Islam is full of crap, lies and violence.
