Foehammer Presents: Refuting Islam - In its own words - Part 1

What follows is the first in a long series of videos I am producing to show, in the very words of Islamic texts like the Quran and the Hadith themselves, that not only is Islam a threat to Western sensibilities, it is a cult based on a huge body of lies, manipulations and reverse psychologies.

This is sure to get called “cherry-picking” and the diversionary phrase “out-of-context” will be thrown at me. But, the trouble for the Islamists this time is that I’m typing in each entry myself using validated source translations like that of N. J. Dawood, and I’m not just choosing the commonly known inflammatory statements from the Quran. Instead, I’m choosing suras based on many criteria. I am going to give evidence to the brightest to play detective for themselves. You will see, in short order, how misogynistic the cult of Islam is, how brutally unforgiving, and how racist and bigoted. But, more importantly, I will show you how Muhammad himself went to great pains to enrapture his new Muslims with himself as the Prophet, and how he manipulated the words of the Torah and the Gospel to his own ends time and time again. Fear-breeding psychology is utilized. Deception. It’s all so obvious when you actually pull apart the suras and examine them.

And that’s the intent of this series: to make the words of Islam so transparent that we end this mad adherence to the idea that protecting every religion, no matter what the circumstance, is somehow justified. It can not be so when the cult of Islam is bent on world domination and will use violent means and martyrdom as tools to that end.

The presentation is especially aimed at educating the absolute novice to the basics of Islam, while at the same time finding appeal with those more well-versed already by getting right to the “heart of the matter” as I am so often apt to do.

So, grab a drink, relax and take a glimpse with me into the Qur’an and the heart and mind of Muhammad (approximate viewing time is 17 minutes):

Part 1 - The Cow (AL-BAQARAH) and the ‘Imrans (AL-’IMRAN) from the Koran (Qur’an)

UPDATE: I have mixed an entirely new soundtrack by the fine Azerbaijani composer, Fikrat Amirov, (1922-1984).

UPDATE: Prior to releasing this video to YouTube, I’ve decided to compose a humble piece of background music myself. This will take a little while, so if I am not posting for a day or so, you now know why!

UPDATE: Composition complete and movie updated with original music! (So long, Fikrat.)

I am currently in the process of converting this presentation into actual video and intend to post it to YouTube as soon as I am able.

The link wasn’t as obvious as I should have liked. It is very easy to see now.

The problem is that Flash movie auto-starts and I’ve yet to figure out a way to code that out, so I have to place it on another page separate from the article in order to avoid having it load when people first load the Anvil homepage.

This is something I won’t have to deal with once I place a different version on YouTube, but Flash does have its advantages (like much smaller file size/loading time).

Yes, that’s going to be one heckuva follow-up piece. I can’t say I’m looking forward to putting it together, but there will undoubtedly be much to work with when I do.

    @ Bill:

All extremely valid points. As much as I hate having to edit and re-edit this work, I know that it is a matter of doing things right, and when it comes to that I hopefully don’t miss the mark by too much.

The music is something I’ve thought on and you’re right — if there ever was an excuse they might use, as they did recently to the infamous atheist, YouTube will yank my video because of “copyright issues”. I think I can trip them up on that though. I have just left a message on a friend’s answering service and the solution might very well be composed for me.

Though I’m with you in theory on the “Wow” effects, I also want to make the video able to grab the attention of “the masses” and as such, I did things intentionally to take some of the “pain” out of reading all those verses and to maintain the attention of the broad array of readers I hope to reach. Entertainment value is a consideration, even when we’re dealing with the cult of Islam. I think I was pretty subtle for something that lasts over 17 minutes in length. It’s not like I’m using voice-overs and Bugs Bunny sound effects (though I was tempted at a couple of points, I have to admit). LOL.

As for the accusers that will try to say I’m taking things out of context, that is exactly why so many verses are included. In fact, many of the verses are one after the other in groups of 2-6 and the entire range of verses in the video (and all the ones I will make in the future) runs sequentially with only 1 exception (3:19). Beyond that I have already considered what you recommend, and you are right.

I will take it one step further though — because of the application that I use, I can expand on this video with time and labor at almost every point — and that means I could even go so far as to show multiple translations of any verse that comes under fire.

The translation I have chosen to use is highly regarded though, and as most translations go, it is actually quite tame in its language. If Muslim scholars contest it, I would probably start doing some accusing of my own — for instance, I’d ask them why they are attempting to reconstruct the English translation to hide the truth of what’s actually written in the Qur’an.

Again, thanks for your very reasoned suggestions. They will be put to good use.

    Foehammer,
    Four issues:
    1) I would suggest you take a very close look at your rights to use the music you have used. If you submit it to Youtube, it would be the easiest way to attack it and have it and your account removed on the basis of DCMA. Try to find some public domain music that you can use and be prepared to provide evidence that it is in fact public domain or that you have the rights to ‘publish’ it.
    2) Don’t quote Wikipedia. Although it’s a fine resource for quickly getting an overview, its reputation for having all the authority of the latest contributor means that you should avoid this.
    3) Be subtle and understated, avoiding the “Wow” sound effects and visual transitions. A scholarly appearance will give more weight to your message - the quotes should be enough for most people to say “Holy cow, is that what they believe”.
    4) Try to address the “But your quotes are taken out of context” argument that will be used against you. Offer a link to online english translations of the Qu’ran to allow people to see the context for themselves, in addition to referencing your book translation. Invite participation on your site and Dhimmiwatch as well, to mitigate the “out-of-context” accusations and try to get them to put up or shut-up as to the actual context.

    Drew,

Has the Islamic world undergone an Age of Enlightenment or a Reformation?

    No.

Are Christians, Hindus, Buddhists or Jews blowing themselves up daily or even weekly or monthly or even — yearly, in the name of their religion (or otherwise) in order to kill non-believers?

    No.

The Muslims you know personally are quite capable of misleading you or outright lying to you. They are also capable of disavowing their own beliefs (many of which I have clearly shown you), and then they are no longer “true Muslims” and will risk the ire of their own kind.

Do you honestly believe you can trust the Muslims you know? If you do, you are taking a risk that I would not.

Am I condemning all religions in this video? No, hardly, but I am condemning anything that attempts to subvert the human spirit, take away Free Will and swath treachery in dogmatic pomposity like Muhammad does throughout the Qur’an. I would go after any faith that tried to kill me, convert me or tax me in the same manner that I’m accosting Islam.

Perhaps Muhammad would be able to explain why I am so able to see through his lies, but he’d have to rise from the dead to play that trick. Muhammad was the greatest liar of all-time, especially because he deceived so well, he undoubtedly not only fooled his followers, but he even started to believe his own mythology.

In short, I abhor attempts at equivalence. Islam is killing people. It’s 2007. When does it end?

    Any other questions?

I’m not sure if this is meant to put down all religions or just Islam. If you read the Christian Bible, including the books of the Torah, women are given no rights here either. Ephesians 5:22 in the New Testament. Women are blamed in Genesis for Original Sin and told that man will always rule over her and she will be punished by having pain during child birth.
I’m not saying that there are not Muslims who are bad people, but there are bad Christians too and in every other religion. I personally know some Muslims who are very peaceful and respectful people and they do not believe that men should control women, just as I am a Christian, but I do not believe that God would rape a women for showing off her jewelery as is said in Isaiah.
The Bible also says over and over again that evil people will tempt believers into worshiping other gods. Isaiah 65:11 says that the LORD will slaughter by the sword those that give their praise to other gods.

Absolute truth of the world-wide radical Islamic threat resides within this remarkable presentation. You are to be congratulated on a job well done not only in bringing us the words of Mohammad, but the specific points mankind must never lose sight of and which are highlighted within this work by what sounds like an Anvil being forcefully struck! I could sense and feel from within my inner being the suffering mankind endures from Islam’s mandates! This “sense” is highlighted from within my very being via the strings incorporated from within the music! Well done, Foehammer! May all take away TRUTH from this illustration incorporating enormous TRUTH! Thank you for uncovering this dark movement which has descended upon mankind from Evil.

Jolly good show there ol chap, you need not go any further as the horrid reality was covered in the lousy two Suras you presented.
The music did fit the scene quite well although I did detest it and maybe you could throw in some AC/DC to accompany the hell and brimstone verses as this would rile me even more.

Exactly why I’m inviting input before I publish this to YouTube. I can easily alter the soundtrack to something less aggressive, but keeping the flavor I want.

Thanks for the suggestion, Sheik. I’ll give it serious consideration.

Indeed, I stand corrected. I was under some false assumption that a sura was considered a verse. Since I do not know the Arabic word for verse, I’ll stick with what I know and make the necessary corrections to the flash video now. Thank you.

    hey, nice presentation

    but “suras” is a “chapter”

    I think you mean “verse”

    For example

in Arabic, “The Chapter of Al-Imran” would be called SURAH al-Imran.

this should help you make a better presentation.

    salam
