Katie Couric asks: Is America ready for a President who prayed in a mosque

Katie Couric’s Notebook: Obama’s Background - Couric & Co.
Is America ready for a President who grew up praying in a mosque?

The short answer is NO.

My long answers can be found here, here and here.

    dearest jamal

Ha! My oh my, you are such a wordy and profound fellow. I barely know where to begin. So I’ll just roll up my sleeves and use my good ‘ol American ingenuity, coupled with my red blooded American patriotic spirit and give it a whirl. K?

Says who? You? Double Ha! From where did this deep insight derive from? Your islamic training/submission/cult programming? Being as you are a self proclaimed “radical islamic” sharia spreading dreamer, I dare say, that you have no say. islam sucks and we all know it, and we aint afraid to show it. Pick up your bag of tricks and go back from whence you came! [Yes I know you live in London. I am speaking to the collective muslim islamic spreading population world wide]

The last thing America needs is an islamic muslim in OUR White House! Kapish?

    Regards & God Bless
If I can do those three things (I can actually do much more), then, then I can show not only Muslims, but the world why Islam is false. Not that it’s false just because I say it is (that’ll never work) but because I can prove that it is.

    Ponder that idea…
Many ways to approach proving that Islam is false. One of the surest ways is to simply cultivate a cult of personality and show the nature of that power to motivate, indoctrinate people into a fabricated belief system (i.e. cult). Show by example how Islam came to be.

Other ways to approach it could definitely involve philosophy, spirituality like you prefer, Human.

Also Foe, and I don’t want to hit this too hard, but I really am a Re’or. And I really do have to leave — I just don’t know when. It could be today, tommorow, or next week. To prevent myself from just vanishing from various websites without explanation, I did say I would be leaving. Which is true, I just can’t tell when exactly. So if I vanish from here, that will be why.

If you don’t know what I am talking about, then just ignore what I’ve said. Someone else will know what I mean.

I don’t concern myself with detailing my own spiritual beliefs for people, because my only real concern is unveiling the falsity of Islam…

hmm. That is an interesting position to take. But I am somewhat baffled and curious as to how one will deal with the falsity (and it is false) of Islam without delving into spiritual beliefs.

The way you show the world the falsity of Islam is to show why Islam is false. If one can show that with undeniable facts, well, facts speak for themselves. Otherwise one ends up with nothing but an eternal complaining about Islam with little to no change.

But then, I am a man. I see all problems as something to be actually solved (we’re wired that way), and not just talked about.

    If I can prove:

    1. “God” exists.
    2. Reveal the nature and essence of “God.”
    3. Prove why Islam is completely incompatible with “God.”

If I can do those three things (I can actually do much more), then, then I can show not only Muslims, but the world why Islam is false. Not that it’s false just because I say it is (that’ll never work) but because I can prove that it is.

    Ponder that idea…

Good thread. We’re learning and knowledge is power!

    FH and Human:

This whole thread has been really interesting.

I particularly like your last post, FH.
Common Sense is the BIG thng. We have all got to have more of it, and less left/right wing stuff if we are going to save ourselves and our civilization.
But I must tell you Foe, that atheism is not the truth either. It is as wrong as Islam is. Perhaps not as deadly, in terms of current events, but it is a false worldview nonetheless.
I never suggested otherwise, though I often have people worry that I’m an atheist one minute or a Christian zealot the next. I don’t concern myself with detailing my own spiritual beliefs for people, because my only real concern is unveiling the falsity of Islam, and what my own personal accord with God might be really is of little consequence to most readers, and really not anyone’s business but mine.

Yes, I would agree that you and I see some things in a very similar light. I find that most people that engage me on this site or JW think along the same terms. Common Sense is not yet dead, despite the efforts of the Left to zombify their own followers and mislead the rest of us.

Now that my taxes are done, perhaps I’ll finally get back to posting on Sunday.

Ahh, but a worldview is much more than a philosophy.

“However, the bigger problem is that Islam is invalid, not what it perceives itself to be — which is Monotheistic.”

Yes, you are quite correct. But do you know why you are correct?

all I can say to them is, an equal percentage of the world once believed the world was flat, too, and one man proved them all wrong.

History is on the side of thinkers, not blind followers. That’s why the West will ultimately win.

Again, you are correct. And I perceive you to be a wise person. One who follows truth, based on evidence, wherever it may lead. But I must tell you Foe, that atheism is not the truth either. It is as wrong as Islam is. Perhaps not as deadly, in terms of current events, but it is a false worldview nonetheless. I am suggesting to you that there is in fact a “God” or intelligent designer. And no, I’m not some type of religious fanatic. Merely a humble (I try to be) scientist who has done much research into various phenomena. I follow only logical reason and evidence.

In any event, I’m glad that we understand each other. And I am on your side with regard to Islam.
