The problem is, I’ll tear any counter to what I’ve discussed here apart with logic and the U.S. Constitution.

But you go right ahead and continue to support the fomenting of Chaos in the U.S.A., the spread of disease, the lowering of education standards and the heightening of crime rates with bleeding heart politics. I’ll stick to fighting the NWO, the CFR and the NAU.

Also, for the record, my previously high esteem for former Mayor Giuliani has spiraled downwards, as I have read and listened and become far more aware of the inner-workings of 9-11 than I ever wanted to be before.

Wise people change their minds when given new information.

This is the most narrow minded article I have ever read. Rather than writing fundamentally conservative articles, perhaps you should take your empirical state of mind and do a little reading!

Truly wise leaders change their minds. If Giulliani refuses to adopt a harsher policy towards illegals, then he will prove himself unfit to be our President. Time will tell. The race is young.

Romney voiced on national television just this past week that he wants to build a fence on the border. I also recall when he refused to coddle Ahmadinejad on his first visit to the United Nations. These are the kinds of signals I look for.

All in all, it’s looking to be a complex race and I’m looking forward to slowly allowing my own opinions to evolve as I get to know the candidates better. The only things that I know for sure at this moment are that I will not support McCain (for a variety of reasons) and I will most definitely not support any of the Democrats.

Foehammer, I agree completely about the outrage of sanctuary cities. And the Plato quotes were very apropos.

However — since Giuliani was mentioned, sorry to say he was a champion of sanctuary policies in New York City; when the federal courts ruled against him on sanctuary, he appealed it to the Supreme Court and when they ruled against him, he defied the court. In the first week of September 2001, the city chose to preserve their rules about not sharing information about visa overstayers.
Heather MacDonald wrote a long piece about this back in 2004 in City Journal.

So I’m afraid Rudy isn’t the one to look to on this issue; like many people who are grandchildren or children of immigrants, (legal immigrants) he seems to have a soft spot for immigrants, illegals included.

I would vote for just about anyone who would pledge to seal our borders (and mean it). But there are only a few (Hunter, Tancredo, and Paul) who have consistently said that.

San Francisco is loaded with confused liberals. On one hand they want to be a sanctuary for illegal aliens, and on the other hand they made it illegal to give homeless people food. On any given day you can go to parts of Golden Gate Park and watch men going into, and out of the bushes with each other. Liberalism really is a mental illness, and they are wrecking the US with it.

@Islamsforlosers: It is shameless isn’t it? Even a 9-11 isn’t enough to stop the anarchists and seditionists from plotting so they can fulfill their own most base desires and cloak them in righteousness. If pure evil exists in the world, I’d be willing to bet it’s finding “sanctuary” in a penthouse somewhere in San Francisco.

Islamsforlosers AND Foehammer are absolutely 100% correct! Plato’s Republic as well as his Dialogues, not to mention Socrates’ and Aritsotle’s writings, should be MANDATED reading with indepth study in ALL schools! I don’t know if “Political Science” [Government studies] is still required study in schools or not, but they most certainly should be! I can easily see the sides forming and evolving into opposing factions. The arrogance and stupidity of the Democratic liberal leftists is shameful and disgusting to see on TV or even realize exists, while the whimpy Conservative Republicans wander around with their tails between their legs! Where is the American Spirit? That Spirit which not only built this country, the USA into the world’s greatest nation ever as well as spilling US blood in every corner of the world to defend and protect freedom?! Those of us who are willing to stand up for our beloved country are forced to stand watching loonies, moonbats and just plain stupid trash ruin every segment of American society. They strut while walking over the dead and wounded troops in Iraq and worldwide, simpering in their holier-than-thou attitudes! They make me sick! As Giulliani so rightly stated, the only way this nation will possibly survive is under a Republican administration. We have graphic proof of how the Democrats now in power are undermining every facet of our being able to remain a nation, let alone a free nation.
