Here’s a snippet (hat-tip: Sheila) from The Guardian that details inside information about an expected upswing in the Iranian-sponsored violence in Iraq. This is hardly news to me, but it is interesting to read anonymous quotes from American officials to the same effect as I have been warning of for so many months:
“Iran is fighting a proxy war in Iraq and it’s a very dangerous course for them to be following. They are already committing daily acts of war against US and British forces,” a senior US official in Baghdad warned. “They [Iran] are behind a lot of high-profile attacks meant to undermine US will and British will, such as the rocket attacks on Basra palace and the Green Zone [in Baghdad]. The attacks are directed by the Revolutionary Guard who are connected right to the top [of the Iranian government].”
Fine. I hope the Iranian mullahs make their move, because it’s past time for the United States military to make its own. Let the gloves come off with Iran and Syria. That would be a step in the right direction for a change.
Read it all.
Also read about Syria’s continuing machinations in an article by Dr. Walid Phares over at the Counterterrorism Blog.

Muslims only respect dying not creating. The Koran is a book of death. The sooner that Muslims over there want to get it on the better. Until Islam fears the English speaking peoples, we all have to worry. The sooner these crazies get slapped down hard, the sooner we will have peace.

I have been reading up and researching a terrorist, a murderer and a cold blooded warrior. He can be described like Mohammad. He is worshiped and iconized like him. His face is seen on many t-shirts, especially with the youth in this age. There is a movie about him that will be released shortly. Yet, Hollywood and the Politically Correct Media treats him like a saint. Despite the evil intentions of this man he has many sympathizers, especially amongst the youth and Latin America. His name is Che Guevara. My question is this: Why do so many Iconize a cold blooded murderer?
Perhaps Foehammer might have an answer
The sooner Iran is dealt with the better. For 30 years the crazies of Tehran have acted with impunity. It’s pathetic to say that the only man with enough guts to take on these lunatics in all this time was…….Saddam Hussein.
@Resistance: It’s the same syndrome as followers of a terrorist like Yasser Arafat , or the Communist, murdering dog that still manages to breath down in Cuba, Fidel Castro, or Hitler when Germans couldn’t afford to buy a loaf of bread — when desperately poor people are starving, they will follow any figurehead with the strength to evoke change, even if the means of that change are violent and evil in the end. The glimmer of hope blinds the impoverished.
These same figureheads always manage to imprint themselves on a segment of the population. It is why you see posters of Arafat and Khomeini still on the walls of Muslims of all ages. It is why huge, wall-plastered images of Stalin put him into the minds of generations to follow as Uncle Joseph, and the same with Uncle Saddam (a student of Stalinism while he was in jail following a failed assassination attempt for the Bathe Party).
It is also probably why you see Hitler on television more than any other figure in history. Fascination with the power and charisma can blind people to the evil such leaders manifest until it is too late, and even after their deaths, they will find sympathizers, much like inmates on Death Row still manage to get married to sycophantic women who enjoy writing letters to “bad men” and think they can save them.
These notions also create slogans like “one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter”, but that’s hogwash. Evil is evil and it can be seen clearly by many people, and that is why people don’t ignore my blog when it could be just left to rot: as many people as there are that have bought into the lies of Muhammad, there are even more that understand intuitively, even if not intellectually (yet), that there’s something very wrong in the house of Islam.
So, history shows us over and over one thing very clearly, does it not?
Good and Evil exist. And if there’s one important choice to make in any life, it’s to decide which side to fight on.
Perhaps this is why Satan and the Anti-Christ are always described as the Great Deceiver or Lord of Lies. Be careful where you put your trust, because evil is always tempting.
