Believe me when I tell you, Dan, the Communists ain’t dead. In fact, keep visiting the Anvil, because I’m going to continue to drop bread crumbs that will eventually lead to the top of Capitol Hill if the path continues in the direction I’m seeing. Do not ever give up your guns or any more of your Constitutional rights.

I sound like a Montana militiaman right about now, I know, but I’m starting to think that I need to. Things are that bad from where I’m sitting, and Islam is only half of our worries.

Enjoyed your take on the Islam situation and Danny Thomas. It’s revealing that your conversationmate confused Islam with the Marionite cult. Guess that his quest was a strawman. I see that a lot..I have a friend and all that.
I’d have to go one further and recommend that rational folks keep their distance from all dogma based profiles..especially the fundmentalist kind…the political world domination crowd (Strassians) , all dognmatic religions and political systems and severe patriotism. How did we get elected the world police? I’m standing with you..those that would attack us need to realize that we are armed and will defend our turf..Iraq, Iran and North Korea sure as heck aint’t it. If you get a chance check out the Science and Islam piece in secular humanism feb/march 2008 issue. That’s our real challenge..keep our scientific edge and not fall to the anti-science no-nothings yammering on and on from various pulpits and the whitehouse…China and India are waiting in the wings. Reconstructing the former Nikita Khrushchev’s rant at the UN , “they (USA) will become so morally and (substitute scientifically) spiritually corrupt that they’ll openly embrace the arms of Communism (Islam). I too live in a small town in Minnesota half the year and the middle of nowhere Texas the other half..My friends are well armed.

Reanimated SDS (aka, the Weathermen) "mock" Memorial Day @ UCLA;

Grave reminder of Iraq war casualties About 1,200 mock graves filled Wilson Plaza at the bottom of Janss Steps on Tuesday, representing U.S. military casualties in the Iraq war. The display included mock white headstones -- mostly crosses, but also Jewish and Muslim religious symbols -- as well as information about military casualties and injuries that have occurred during the war. The exhibit, called 'Arlington West,' is run by a group called Veterans for Peace and was designed as a place where people could come to mourn the soldiers who have died in the war, but it has also been called a form of antiwar protest, said Steve Brown, a UCLA alumnus and member of Veterans for Peace. The group Students for a Democratic Society brought the exhibit to campus, and organized three days of events centered around educating the campus about the war.

Good to hear it Foehammer. It is important to the entire western world to get someone good into the White House.
Also I am glad you got something out of that other link. It was from Andrew Bolt’s ‘Blog. We are lucky to have this man.

Foehammer, great post.
I think that the best hope for America is in the small towns and the people who make up those towns.
I live in a town of several thousand people and there is more common sense and good old American spirit here than in any of the sophisticated cities, the kinds of places that tend to be sanctuary cities.

@Sir HM: I believe you’re right in that estimation. Perhaps many in Britain would like to see the USA lead into its death throes, with Islamism strangling us and Liberals destroying our will to survive and Illegal Immigrants watering down our nation into a shadow of its once great people. Perhaps electing weaklings and fools such as Barack Obama or Senator Clinton or John Edwards would be more to British liking?
