Thats because the newer verse abrogate the older ones once Mo-bomb-ed got the upper hand. Its not that they contradict, its that it was a neccessity to be peaceful when Mo was weak.

Oh and as for that peaceful verse in the Qur’an you alluded to, that was directed towards the Children of Israel, not Muslims. Apologists always like to use that verse to claim the Qur’an is a peaceful book.

I didn’t say that. I said that that we don’t believe in EVERYTHING in the Koran. There are parts in the Koran that contradict themselves. Anyone who believes in contradictory premises lacks common sense. That includes people who believe that human life is precious and at the same time they must kill infidels wherever they find them. That also includes people who believe that they should take an eye for an eye and at the same time turn the other cheek.
