Unfortunately, once we get past the compulsories, there’s not a lot of verve in the actual performance. The blog entries themselves are a dull lot, consisting of nothing you haven’t heard before when Debbie Schlussel forgets to take her teeth out. Although there are a few fun entries (like the one where he approvingly quotes the guy who assassinated Gandhi and the one where he fawns over the burning in effigy of a dead man and pops a mini-boner while contemplating the possibility of an invasion by phantom Vikings), is mostly just boilerplate all-Muslims-are-evil…
EDIT: At this point I had to make a slight correction. Seems my brain was over-fried from fixing the site crash when I launched into this. Leonard tried to do a quick end around with an edit and left a comment informing me of my “mistake”, but in actuality, I clearly remembered the posting being labled “Posted by Gavin M.” when it was originally up, so I suppose Leonard and Gavin share the same computer, perhaps the same bed, and it was actually Leonard that goofed. Oops. Look at that Lenny, I turned it right around on you again. And I can prove I’m right because smartguy Leonard didn’t clean his rabbit trail well enough. Oh, yes, now I remember: Gavin King — moonbat journalist. Yet another odd coincidence.
Moral of this story? Ladies, don’t name your sons Gavin.
Seems old Gavin M. fancies himself a liberal-progressive (I always laugh when I read that contradiction) and a musician. Oh, the irony there.

Addendum: Well, it looks like morning came early — I couldn’t resist the argument and began before bedtime. Did I done good? Did I, did I? (Warning: I did use some blue language once or twice. I’m not a sailor though, I swear.)

@Lesley: Don’t you Leftist/Marxist freaks ever get tired of asking that same silly question? I suppose it’s not enough proof of my willingness to fight for my country by merit of this site’s existence. But then, nothing is ever proof enough for people like you. No matter how many times I honestly might discuss my family’s history of military service, my own call to action after 9-11 and my filing for duty despite my age, someone like you won’t believe it. You know why that is?
It’s because you yourself have no strength of character, no courage and no belief in truth. It is a familiar flaw in so many on the Left — because you’re so much about self-gratification and anarchy, you cannot even dare believe someone else has higher ideals than you hold, because then it makes you look in the mirror and recognize what a lowlife you truly are in the scheme of things.
And that was an intentional intellectual beatdown: I’ve wanted to say that to your kind for a long, long time.
It has always amazed me they think they can intimidate those of us exercising our right of free speech. I like to keep my hate mail and read it when I need a laugh. The complaints and threats do not bother me as much as idiot’s stupid enough to think I would click a link in an email or believe I won a lottery I never heard of. I try and stop by your site a few times a week and consider your work well above average. It is always insightful and your analysis is spot on. You set the bar high my friend. I consider their actions proof you are considered a threat and I congratulate you for getting under their skin. Keep up the good work.
