More bad news coming out of the state of Connecticut (you might recall this past article). But from the People’s Patriot Blog, signs that Americans are fighting back against the ‘Sanctuary City’ trend:
New Haven, Connecticut is going sanctuary city in a big and bold way. The town is encouraging illegal aliens to remain in the country through the issuance of municipal ID cards. Sanctuary cities exist under violation of federal law. Too bad no one on the federal level has the personal or professional integrity to enforce the law. The New Haven Register covers the criminal act with blissful ignorance.
The New Haven Board of Aldermen Thursday took the first step toward New Haven becoming the first city in the country to issue a municipal identification card that would be available to all within its borders, including undocumented immigrants.
Beyond that, the card was seen as an example for the rest of the country to follow to start to deal with the 12 million illegal immigrants in America, some 70,000 of whom are estimated to be living in Connecticut.
“This could be a step for New Haven to lead our country into the future,” Brennan said.

I can see that I’m going to have to get to work on my U.S. borders protection site and get it up and running. The lines are blurring between Islamic threats and border threats at an alarming rate.

I wonder how many terrorists are running loose in this sanctuary city, just itching to do their worst? This is a splendid example of how mindless leftism has enabled terrorist scum to enter the US easily and operate freely. Uncontrolled borders and letting illegals do as they please leads to nothing but trouble. One day we will see what this sort of foolishness ultimately brings.

And our elected officials want to dump this new immigration bill on us without making any effort to control the border! They TALK about border control, and have been TALKING since 1986, but I think our Exalted Ones believe the coming Trans National Highway / North American Union will make border control pointless. Polite words cannot express how angry I am at my government - both parties!!!

I’m starting to believe that a Presidential ticket without Fred Thompson on it is not going to be the winning one — and that’s because he’s a man that I believe I can count on in all matters that truly matter, and one of those is immigration.
The other is, of course, the war with Islam.
