Well, in the past twenty minutes I received not one but two emails from separate bloggers informing me that Digg and Blogger have both seen fit to label them as “spam” and ban them in their own way. A Blogger ban is the most serious since it disables a site almost entirely (i.e. cannot post), as was the case for 18 hours most recently with Gates of Vienna.
Who is the primary suspect behind this recent trend of censorship? Well, none other than the “Reverend” Jim Sutter. Jim thinks we are all Islamophobes and apparently that makes us hate what we supposedly fear. And that is his excuse for fashioning his own brand of fascism and hate and calling it “good work”.
Can you say hypocrite, boys and girls?
If anyone has any further information on who else might be behind the moves to ban anti-jihad sites or other politically oriented sites that do not cultivate a “progressive” agenda, please pass it along. Here are the two affected sites today:
Weasel Zippers - banned by Digg.com
W Zip aptly notes:
If you have a “progressive” hate site that advocates killing Americans then you’re fine, if you try and get out the truth you get banned.
and
Exposing Sutter - banned by Blogger.

I went to ExposingSutter - it seems to be up.
There are plenty of anti-Jihadists on Google’s Blogger - should they go to livespaces, or somewhere else? Maybe someone could start a web hosting service just for this market segment, and use whatever ad revenue they got to (aside from staying in business) sponsoring the jihad against Islam.
One more suggestion - on your strike-through crescent/star logo, how about having there ‘Jihad on Islam’? Muslims won’t be able to complain, particularly if they claim that it’s an ‘inner struggle’. Of course, if they acknowledge that it’s a real campaign, then they can’t fault us for following the same rules as them (even though they and their Leftist lackeys will try). Consider it.
The site is up but I can’t edit or publish my posts. Blogger has flagged me like they did the Gates of Vienna as a spam blog. I took a look at my site stats and one IP has repeatly shown up over and over the last few days 71.181.40.6 pool-71-181-40-6.cncdnh.fios.verizon.net 10 to 20 times a day but only stays for a few seconds.
I’m thinking of putting up a mirror blog.
@Infidel Pride: I’ve considered making variants of current graphics and adding more new ones. If I put a label on something it will be ‘Boycott Islam’ in order to maintain clarity of thought for the campaign. A boycott is perfectly legal whether someone likes it or not.
I won’t use “jihad” as a description of something I’m waging. Not that the idea isn’t fine, but the way my mind works I couldn’t stand to make that word a part of any slogan or campaign I’ve worked up.
O/T: I notice your avatar is working.
Yeah, I perfectly understand why many folks will rightfully cringe at the idea of using enemy terminology. The way I do it, I like taking my enemy’s weapons, and using it against them.
Thanks for pointing out my avatar - I’m glad my evil side is showing up
(Guessing it doens’t get retroactively applied, right?) :smiley2_tb:
Well I put up a mirror http://sutterwatch.blogspot.com/ and I’m looking to see if I can move the blog to my own domain.
I have tangled a bit with Rev. Jim Sutter before: HERE and HERE and HERE.
He hasn’t engaged with me for some time, but continues to complain about hate speech at his blog.
I searched his blog using “foehammer” and got this. I don’t see mention of you, Foehammer, but I might have missed it.
He really doesn’t like Joe Kaufman nor Joe’s web site Americans Against Hate.
Ok I have wordpress installed and will be importing my blog soon. I’ve renamed it SutterWatch. Blogger *still* hasn’t responded to *any* of my emails.
Lady Predator
Sutter watch?
Looks like the good reverend will have his hands full just dealing with this. He seems to have added JWW to his list after initially mistaking it for an anti-JW, and therefore, a pro-Islamic site. He was pissed that his list of non-Islamic terror groups, which included Jihadi groups like Algeria’s FIS, was thoroughly exposed.
How are other blog sites, like MS live spaces? Actually, I’ve read all the terms & conditions at various sites, and all of them have announcements that ban hate speech. While we may not view anti-Islamic sentiments as hatred, fact remains that such activities would be frowned upon at the very least by blog owners, which is one of the reasons I’ve chosen to avoid them - even if I did have the time to run a blog of my own.
Sutter Watch is up. Well sort of. I haven’t finished transferring everything over.
What burns me up is I had so many hits, 600 in two weeks and I can’t even get into blogger to at least post a forwarding URL. Three days and *no* response from these guys.
BTW Erich from Jihad Watch Watch has posted a response to “Rev.” Sutter.
