Digg vs Anvil

Well, approaching DEFCON 3 here at the Anvil with regard to the recent censorship of my site by Digg.com. First the highest traffic article in the history of the Anvil was completely squelched by Digg, and then Digg implemented a block on all articles from my site from being Dugg at all.

I suppose that any private company is within its legal rights to pick and choose who gets through their system, but isn’t it interesting that a user-driven website should be so quick to censor based on the flimsiest of excuses imaginable? Like this one:

URL blocked
This URL has been widely reported by users as being regularly used to spam Digg’s submission process and cannot be submitted at this time.

Excuse me if I’m not buying that load of crap, Digg. You’ve censored me for political reasons. You know it and I know it.

I sent a kindly email to the Digg crew a day ago and still not a peep out of them. *shock, amazement*

I have plans for next week, big plans.

Good luck standing up to the PC types. I never did get into using Digg… shame because it had such potential.

Gallows humor: We don’t need a “fairness doctrine” when corporations are all too willing to do the PC heavy handed work of the gov’t anyway. It’s a matter of time till Google starts outing people here in the US for free speech like they do in China.

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if someday you get a letter telling you to give more time to pushing the perspective from a violent jihadist’s standpoint.

Is it a coincidence that Jihad Watch and the Anvil are experiencing, for lack of a better word, censorship at the same time?

Want proof of Google censorship? They’re at it!

Go to the link below, then enter the site and read their story about Google policies at the top of their blog, which by the way, had to be abandoned.

From what I have gathered about Digg. When the leftards attack they cry “spam”. There are some that are afraid of what you say. That is good news in a way, if you think about it. You Foehammer must have hit a nerve. The whiny apologetic leftards, and perhaps some islamanazis feelings were bruised.
    Boo-freakin’-hoo!

This may be an interesting alternative to digg.

If you want to read actual interesting stuff written by real people, stay put.

We use passive-voting technology to ensure the most interesting and/or controversial stories make it to the top of the pile. We believe the best articles are those that create a stir in the community, not necessarily ones everyone agrees with.

Well-written, logical, dissenting viewpoints should not be buried simply because a handful - or even many - disagree with the message or dislike the messenger.

The wisdom of the masses is a powerful thing, but when not kept in check the content they choose becomes stale, repetitive, and boring. Anyone who has a strong voice, but isn’t shouting what they want to hear is effectively silenced.

If most are conservative, any liberal idea disappears. If the majority believes global warming is a threat, anyone offering evidence that it may not be is quieted. That isn’t what democracy is about.

It’s about being free to speak your mind. It’s about being able to see both sides of an issue and having the ability to come to your own conclusions. The last thing a democracy should be about is having a small group of people tell you what you shouldn’t be reading.

Worst of all, it shortly leads to a non-entertaining reading experience. Do you really want to keep reading the same reworded stories over and over? Or do you occasionally want to be challenged with a viewpoint that you disagree with, and have the confidence that you’re allowed to say what you feel without fear that other users will make your comments vanish?

    Hmm…

@velvethammer: That site looks like a viable alternative. Eventually I may just boot Digg off my site entirely, and then I’ll consider such solutions.

    Thanks for the tip.

I went to stirredup, and so far there is only one comment. A muslim or sympathiser who thinks you are picking on those fine people.

I think these thing’s, like your problems with digg, come with the territory of success. They are just things to work through.
You have the necessary drive, and ability. Allah has seen to it that your enemies are weaker than you are. See, Allah is good for something after-all…

    Hey Foehammer,
Just wanted to let you know that I have seen your name all over the net regarding this story. This isn’t PC activity this is outright fascist activity as outlined by that KGB defector. The Internet, designed for information exchange has been hijacked by the leftofascists. Just do a simple search and what do you get, the first page will be filled with anti western/conspiracy theory/leftofascist propaganda. It doesn’t matter what word you use it is almost always the same and I’m sick of it. I’m sick of google/youtube and now digg. I have to teach my children that when they search they must be very careful about the results, that they are likely to get a result that seeks to make them feel bad about their heritage their country/countrymen, its disgusting. The computer and the internet when first bound together had me believing that a new age was dawning but these very people in the computer industry that helped create it have turned out to be our worst enemies. Shame on them, I bet they support every leftofascist cause out there, no doubt sanfransicko is their favorite city, the America hating capital of the world. These sick leftists who indulge in the very activities that will get them killed in the future, ones that we have allowed them to partake in here in America, they will kill them for their behavior we have allowed it yet they hate us anyway. I say they will end up getting us all killed all of our rights destroyed in the name of perversity, with their drug clouded view of the world (legal or not) we will all end up in gas chambers or worse. It really is us or them, I mean, do you think that they would not bury you in real life just as they have done on digg? Our children’s minds are what they seek to control, to warp, to make so confused that they are unable to react, unsure whether to defend themselves. This is no different than what the Nazis did to their children, this is the same as what the palis and their jihadist rat are doing. The moral to all this is, if you allow perverts/drug addicts/mental patients/run of the mill dummies to decide the direction of your country don’t be surprised when you end up in the toilet and then later a gas chamber. The media, schools, tv, movies, music, sports, the internet and now the assault on talk radio. They want it all and they will use it (they already have been) to corrupt our children and therefore our future. Some of the repubs may be stupid, out of touch, country clubbers but many of the dems are proud leftofascists just listen to their presidential candidates, socialism is the new direction they want us to move forward towards, two Americas, one free one not, they prefer the latter and they will demand that we die so that they can achieve their goals. I have no sympathy for these leftofascists, whatever the powers that be want to do with them is ok with me, as I said it is us or them.

    TO ALL:

And this is exactly what I want. Pro or con, the more traffic that gets sent to the Anvil, the more powerful I become. There’s really no way the Left or the Islamists can stop me — I’ve been on the Internet since before AOL even existed. I can adapt as fast as a teenager when required, though it takes more energy at 40, I have to admit. I make up for all the moonbat locust attacks just by the fact that I’m blessed with sheer force of will.

Yes, it’s easy to get dark, grim and angry with the tactics that are used against any of us that dare try to simply examine the truth and spread what we know. I get quite angry behind this keyboard every other day, but I’m learning to reign in my emotions and keep a balanced and clear message. I don’t always succeed and I will never be a diplomat, but I also know that the world is in need of straight shooters now, so an occasional outburst seems to be what my readers have come to expect from me. Perhaps it’s even what many of you get entertainment value from. Hopefully so, because I do not in fact enjoy having to fend off the Leftofascist hordes, but I know I can not let them just spew their idiocy and lies and slander without being confronted.

Most of the problems you are ranting about, tgusa, I believe are the birth pangs of a possible collapse of our system. This is why I attack the anarchists so ruthlessly in addition to the Islamists. The very same reasons that Rome imploded are now strangling our own Republic. The rich and greedy are out of control. The Middle Class is being given most of the burdens. Ungrateful and often criminal outsiders are immigrating into the nation without any intention of assimilating. Alternate lifestyles are being impressed upon our youth as fundamentally acceptable. Family life is limping because of high taxes, selfish parental pursuits and weakened social systems and education. Marxists, communists, Islamists, anarchists, atheists, and other lobbies and activist groups are embedded deep into our media, entertainment, government, charities, the internet, book publishing houses and more.

Yet, here’s something to give you and perhaps many of the lurkers out there reading additional hope: I completely understand the Left because I’ve lived and worked among that type of mindset most of my life. When the time comes that I am no longer comfortable with an anonymous identity, my background will surprise, perhaps even shock most. I believe it will go a long way in showing that it is not necessary to be Left or Right or Center in this fight with Islam and the Anarchists — what is necessary is adherence to the best philosophies of Western Civilization and an exacting attention to Realism and Truth and Morality.

We must all just keep bringing people to the blogosphere. Give people the opportunity to learn, even though most will not take it. There are always converts to the Truth. It is just a very long, uphill battle, so we must be unrelenting and resolute.

I think it probably needs no mention to longtime readers of the Anvil, but I’m a Thinker first and foremost and a Machiavellian by nature. Given enough time, power and influence, I guarantee I can become a nightmare for the enemies of Freedom in the United States and I have no intention of abandoning any non-Muslims that wish to ally with us or already have. At this point, I do not know if I will have the energy to keep up the fight for as long as I believe will be required, nor do I know what the future holds for me personally — I could end up a homeless man on a street corner, or I could end up in Congress, but beyond all the ifs and what ifs, I promise that I will continue to use every ounce of talent and will I have in me to help wake up these comatose masses to reality. I will continue to try to come up with focused and original ways to deal with these constant threats, and that is all I can offer.

Each and every reader that comes to the Anvil and wishes me Godspeed and best wishes and strength, keeps me doing this with verve. I owe you all a debt of gratitude that is beyond my ability to describe, because it makes me believe that I am not fighting in vain and it gives me hope that many needless tragedies may yet be prevented.

The West shall prevail. We are the best this planet has to offer, despite our flawed village idiots, and that’s the heart of the matter.

Nice video, however the actor goes on to imply all religion need be removed from public life. i contend that it is the lack of good religion (ie Judeo/christian) that has allowed islam to fill the vacuum of no religion. With out any belief, folks will believe anything. the problem is not “religion” the problem is the death cult of islam. Recall it was the Crusaders (claiming Christian beliefs) that fought off the islamic hoards from conquring Europe in past times. It is highly unlikely that europe would have or could have defeted islam (well pushed it back is more accurate)during the crusades had it not been for the strong christian religion of Europe. If europeans had no religion back then, they liekly never would have been able to get together and fight a common threat as they did.

let churches replace mosques, that is what the enemay hates the most, lets give it to them.

The Digg.com site is filled with liberals who will not allow for the possibility that maybe, just maybe, Islam has some problems.

And you’re surprised that they would flag any criticism, scratch that - the truth - as “spam”? They brag about doing such things in the comment sections there. It’s probably not the Digg admin banning you, rather it is the crazy libs who overrun that site. Have you checked out the political section there, by chance? Your kind (and my kind as well incidentally) of beliefs are verboten there.
