On the advice of several people, I’m going to take a break from posting on the Anvil for at least two days. I may reply to comments and emails. I might even post a brief story link if it’s urgent, but as of this moment, I’m off to rejuvenate my spiritual batteries as a main priority.
I’d like to remind everyone that I will be interviewed live this Friday, August 17th, over at The Gathering Storm. Details may still be found here.
On a side-note, I would also like to mention that the Anvil’s syndicated (RSS) readership hit an all-time record high today at 159. RSS readership is important because it represents additional readers that are not necessarily visiting the site itself and being counted among the hits. So, the message is getting out there, folks. This site is succeeding; I’m just difficult to satisfy and always my own worst critic.
Let that be a lesson to CAIR and the troglodytes that assist all Islamists and all fascists — censorship, thought-policing — these tools of the enemies of Freedom might slow progress, but they will never completely stop it.
Consider this thread now open to any reader discussion. Knock yourselves out.

Foehammer,
Enjoy your well-deserved break!
Thanks for the open thread!
I’ll avail myself of it to publicize these two articles on my own blog, which I posted today:
Web 2.0 and the South Carolina Pipe Bomb Boys
Blog Troubleshooting: “Uh oh, my blog won’t display!”
Both have been submitted to Digg, but neither have been getting any traction to speak of - even though the Blog Troubleshooting has been getting decent viewership from other sources.
Foehammer, I’ve been using WordPress stats and Google stats, and I’m beginning to think that StumbleUpon is, for most types of blog articles, far better for gaining blog viewership than Digg.
That said, I realize that I’d do better with StumbleUpon if I spent more time there, especially with regard to building more relationships with people on StumbleUpon, picking out more articles for others to read, reading and voting on other people’s articles more of the time, etc. That’s enjoyable to do, but the problem is that it also takes a lot of time to generate the content in the first place, as you well know.

It’s summertime . . .which means v-a-c-a-t-i-o-n! ENJOY it Foehammer!
We know this fight is in your blood and you’ll be back when you are good and ready.
I came to your site because I found your comments over at JW/DW satisfying and reassuring.
Here’s wishing you and yours a relaxing, enjoyable respite. All the best.
Out of curiosity, what are the main news-aggregator sites everyone out there relies on? My news aggregators are
The Religion of Peace
Little Green Footballs
Eye On The World
Jihad Watch/Dhimmi Watch
Infidel Bloggers’ Alliance/Maverick News Media
Center for Vigilant Freedom
I find that I’m getting information overload from the explosion of anti-Jihad blogs and web sites, many of which carry the same news. I think some sort of consolidation needs to be carried out in order to reduce the redundancy and time-wasting.
@Emperor: Jihad News Feeds
That little creation of mine should help consolidate things a bit for just about anyone…
FH,
hope you really do have a little break. I think I will too
Fortify yourself for your broadcast.
Also, saw this on JWDW and I thought I would post it for your US readers:

Just popping by to wish you well for your interview on Friday. It’s good that you’re taking a little break to recharge the batteries. Which is not to say that I’ve seen any evidence of them going flat. No! Nothing could be further from the truth. Hope you come back even stronger (if that’s possible).
FH,
OT
Your email is down again
Islam will not reform until faced with an existential fight. To this end see Saneworks. There in the latest submission by the site owners is the theorectical/historical framework from which Foehammer works. I agree with Saneworks.
Revive quickly Foehammer because Islam takes no breaks. But such is necessary. A wise warrior always takes time to refresh.
You’re missed already Foehammer. Rest up and get back. BTW, looking forward to Friday’s radio show!
Regards,
Patricia
@Gramfan: I just checked all my Anvil email addresses and they are working. Disk space is plentiful and email quotas are not anywhere near full. Something might have bounced due to networking errors across the Net. It happens. I’ve had a half-dozen emails bounce when I’ve tried to reply to you before. Half a world apart…
@Everyone: Big thanks for all the supportive and kind words and donations I’ve received in the last few days. The rest is doing me good.
Whats the latest word on the anti-Sharia rally?
Enjoy your rest Foe, its well earned.
A simple way to help publicize Foehammer’s Anvil: always leave a link back to this site whenever you comment in the comment sections of online mainstream newspapers and other online publications.
“I’ve had a half-dozen emails bounce when I’ve tried to reply to you before. Half a world apart…
”
Drats! What have I missed?
:)
There is no rest for the wicked. Mohsmomzazionistho points out that Islam never rests. According to swami logic, Islam must then, be wicked.
You do a great job on counteracting Islamic wickedness, but you do need to take a break every now and then. If you keep your nose to the grindstone, you will soon wear it off. It’s better if muslims wear their noses off…have good whatever it is…
Foehammer,
If you have any questions as to the radio show this Friday, send me an email: AlwaysOnWatch@aol.com
Looking forward to interviewing you!
duh_swami: “swami logic” Cool, I love it! LOL.
The show is live at noon Pacific Time (USA). Foehammer will be on at the bottom of the hour.
And we take callers, too!
As this is an open thread, I’d like to draw your attention to this poll on a major news reporting site.
http://news.ninemsn.com.au/
The question is: ‘Do you support a moratorium on Muslim immigration to Australia?’ At the time of typing the respondents have answered thus:
Yes - 21,646
No - 8,031
I’m sure these results reflect the opinion of the silent majority throughout the western world.
Simone:
I have added another vote!
Last time I looked the ratio was around 30:1 against further muslim immigration. If Pauline Hanson gets this idea out there it will be a big achievement, even though I doubt she will win any seats, but who knows? If it spurs the major parties to take notice it will be something.
Thanks for posting that as I rarely go to the Nine website.
Always On Watch:
I have to recheck the times for Foe’s radio show and hope I am around when it is on
Thanks.
Gramfan,
Recordings of the show are easily available online for at least a month.
Simone,
Actually, I think that the majority do. But they are afraid to speak up for fear of being labeled bigots.
Always on Watch
thanks again.
I am going to repost the time in any case for other Aussies. I can’t remember where I filed it
At the specified time, local time in Melbourne is 17 hours ahead of Los Angeles
Location Local time Time zone
Los Angeles (U.S.A. - California) Friday, 17 August 2007 at 5:00:00 PM UTC-7 hours PDT
Melbourne (Australia - Victoria) Saturday, 18 August 2007 at 10:00:00 AM UTC+10 hours EST
Corresponding UTC (GMT) Saturday, 18 August 2007 at 00:00:00
If any one out there can see a mistake, please let me know!
Ah! The time-zone issue!
Try this site. Refresh the page for current times.
The radio show starts at noon Los Angeles time. For me in the D.C. area, that’s 3:00 PM.
Always on Watch
)
That makes it 10pm my time.I am going to have to listen to a repeat.
I was hoping to call in. (I won’t be home then
A break from blogging, wow, I hope you are doing something fun and not business. We all need a break now and then.
Thanks for the comment at Right Truth about the “Rev.” I checked out his site and decided he was in the enemy camp, not ours.
@ Simone,
Nice post on Bolt today
Hope you get a good answer from “you know who”
Couldn’t help but notice all the newbies: either leftoids or muslims with anglo names.
I’ll check it out later.
I put one in also
(BTW I think FH’s broadcast will be 10pm tonight AEST.)
Thanks, Gramfan. I always delight in luring ‘You Know Who’ over at Bolt’s with a comment on Israel because he never fails to take the bait, and then his true colours (intolerance, bigotry and anti-semitism) are clearly revealed for all to see. My work is done. No further comments required!
BTW, saw your post over at Sheik’s place. Great minds think alike, huh?!
I’m going to tune in to FH’s broadcast tonight, but if I miss it, I’ll definitely listen at a later time/date.
Again,great job, Simone!
I don’t know which of my posts you are referring to, but I know we think alike
I also noticed yesterday, very late, that the other “you know who” is back and posting from Texas. You know who I mean - the one who is an authority on every religion that ever existed. Oh well,,,,I think people are wising up so let him keep it up.
Wrong again. Sorry
FH on AEST is 5am
Location Local time Time zone
Pacific Time (U.S.A. - California) Friday, 17 August 2007 at 12:00:00 Noon UTC-7 hours PDT
Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane (Australia ) Saturday, 18 August 2007 at 5:00:00 AM UTC+10 hours EST

Gramfan is correct. Brisbane, Australia is 17 hours ahead of Los Angeles, California (PST). So the Gathering Storm radio show begins at around 5 AM Australian time. My segment begins in the 2nd half hour, so around 5:30 AM your time.
For North Americans:
Noon (PST), 1 PM (Mountain), 2 PM (CST), 3 PM (EST)
It only took about 5 attempts to figure it out, lol!
I am not usually up then,,but who knows?
Right now Skype has been down for a while. I was hoping to call in if I caught the live show.
Hope you had a good rest
Hi FH!
Listening in! How exciting!
What a fantastic way to make use of a sick day from work.
Oh and I have been under the weather. lol
You have a great voice for radio.
Hi FH!
It seems that my last comment went into your spam heap. Sigh.
Anyways.. just wanted to say I am listening in to your interview.
How exciting! You’ve a wonderful voice for radio.
Fantastic show. I am thrilled to have had this chance. Thank God I heard of it in time to tune in.
- Velvet Hammer
Velvet Hammer,
Yes, FH has a superb voice for radio. And he’s passionate, politicaly incorrect, and well versed in his subject matter.
Here’s to having FH on the show again!
Always
I agree with you 100%. Must be why Foehammer is one of my all time favorites.;) Of course he should join in again. Makes for good talk radio. My only wish is that it could of ran a little longer. It was like only being served a half of a piece of cake. I was left wanting more. lol
Thank you for having him. Your show has made my day. Ann Corcoran was a stimulating guest as well.
Good choices all around.
- Velvet Hammer
@Always & Velvethammer: Well, thanks very much, ladies.
I have to admit I felt like I was just building a fire in the forge when it was all suddenly over. I’ll accept an invitation to come back anytime.
As it turns out though, I have already been asked to do another interview over at another blogradio site. I dunno…should I do it?
FH
You are welcome my friend.
Another invite? Sure why not, the ball is rolling. Why stop the momentum now. Strike while the iron is hot.
- Velvet Hammer
I’m a little disappointed with the on-air interruptions and digressions that prevented Foehammer from getting his message across as clearly and loudly as he would have liked.
“I have already been asked to do another interview over at another blogradio site. I dunno…should I do it?”
Yes, go for it Foehammer, you’re a natural!
Emperor Palpatine,
We rarely get so many call-ins!
WC and I will schedule FH again. He’s already consented in an email to me.
FH,
You’ve been invited by another show? Which one? Whichever one, accept the invite. If possible, I’ll tune in!
Velvet Hammer and FH,
The time flies by when the guests are good ones!
Foe, this is probably a dead thread now that you are back, but I thought I’d post this here on this ‘open thread’ rather than go off topic on the newer threads . . .
From the blog jillosophy -
Mother always told me “Don’t forget to flush”
As it turns out though, I have already been asked to do another interview over at another blogradio site. I dunno…should I do it?
Definitely! Doing the blog-radio circuit is another way to spread your message and publicize the Boycott Islam campaign.
On the topic of drop in traffic to this site, maybe you can leave comments in Jihad Watch/Dhimmi Watch, asking people to check whether or not this site is blocked at their workplaces.
Always
True that.
heroyalwhyness
That is a good one. Thanks for linking to it.
Have you by any chance viewed ‘HamNation: Better Living Through Bathroom Etiquette‘
- Velvet Hammer
@Always: In answer to what other blogtalkradio host asked me to interview: www.freedomfighterradio.net
I will most likely accept.
Thanks to everyone for your long list of positive comments and suggestions. I’m a bit of a ham, so I suppose I could be tempted to do more radio.
In line with what I stated in another thread, you did sound great FoeHammer. I definitely agree with most of the folks posting in this thread. I’ll look forward to future interviews.
Here’s to more buzz bringing others to the site and the message reaching more people.
@tosser: And you strive very hard to try to shatter my ego. You’re a pesky troll, I’ll give you that much, but you’re patently incorrect in your analysis of me and my method. I banned you and I ban those similar to you for one very good reason: you waste my time.
Secondly, it’s because you ignore facts.
Third, it’s because you absorb lies and regurgitate them.
And last, it’s because you’re most likely too stupid to understand 2 and 3.
