I’m considering making Sundays a traditional day for an ‘open thread’ on the Anvil. In addition to that, I have the urge to also make each Sunday a day when I publish a new podcast of some sort, be it an interview or an editorial. This way I get to enjoy some sunshine and get away from my desk at least one day a week, yet at the same time “deliver the goods” seven days a week.
Today though I do not intend to post a new podcast, simply because I was not 100% satisfied with the vocal quality on my flagship podcast. I need to purchase a good but not overly expensive condenser microphone, and then once that is done, I will have no more excuses to refrain from putting out a regular stream of podcasts. The “field” of my old posts is fertile, so it should be quite easy for me to create at least one new podcast each week.
This thread is now wide open to any topic you might like to bring up. Have at it. I’m going to run outside and breathe the fresh air.

For anyone who is interested: check out this new blog started by Tom Quiggin, a Canadian security and intelligence expert:

He hews to the “tiny minority of extremist misunderstanders hijacking Islam” line, which may have something to do with his present employment by the political establishment of Singapore, a country with a significant Muslim minority.
Added that site to the Anvil blogroll. Thanks.
Found out from Little Green Footballs that the Investigative Project, headed by Steve Emerson, recently put up its own web site at http://www.investigativeproject.org/
It is very good and has plenty of detailed information. Its multimedia section is filled with audio and video recordings of Jihadists expressing their true thoughts candidly.
