Here’s a follow-up to an article I posted on July 28, 2007. From The Brussels Journal (with thanks to Boycott Islam blog):
The Arab-European League (AEL), a pro-Hezbollah organization of Arab immigrants in Belgium and the Netherlands, is rallying its members to march in Brussels on 11 September “against Islamophobia and racism in Europe.” The AEL demonstration is a response to the request by the Danish-British-German organization Stop the Islamisation of Europe (SIOE) for permission to demonstrate on 9/11 in front of the European Union’s buildings in Brussels against the introduction of Sharia laws in Europe.
bruessel_flugblatt-small.jpgTwo weeks ago the SIOE demonstration was banned by Freddy Thielemans, the mayor of Brussels. According to Mr Thielemans the SIOE demonstration is a a criminal offence because it “incite[s] to discrimination and hatred, which we usually call racism and xenophobia. [This] is forbidden by a considerable number of international treaties and is punished by our penal laws and by the European legislation.”
SIOE has initiated an appeal against the mayor’s ban before the Belgian Council of State. The CoS is expected to issue its verdict next week. Last week Mayor Thielemans gave permission for a demonstration in Brussels on 9 September by United for Truth (UfT), a group which claims that the terror attacks of 9/11/2001 on the WTC towers in NY and on the Pentagon were organized by the American government.

Bottom-line: If you’re anti-American or pro-Islam, you’re welcome to spread your taint wherever you please, but if you stand up for European or American rights, culture and dignity, forget about it.

I can’t help but notice these people are protesting “Islamophobia”, but not Islamofacists, or terrorists or…
Bigsibling, yes you are right, and they are deflecting the issue to occupy all the bleeding heart leftoids “hearts and minds” out there where they know their best chance is. Islamofacists, or terrorists are not important so we must be occupied all the time with phobias to allow the Islamofacists and terrorists to suceed. These people are not citizens, they are legal jihadists and seditionists.
The Stop Islamisation of Europe (SIOE) organization still intends to protest on 9/11. If the AEL are allowed, and the SIOE appear at the same time, there is good chance of there being fireworks in Brussels on 9/11. While I would not want SOIE hurt by Brussel’s police, perhaps a large demonstration from both sides could raise some awareness here in the U.S. Not a single presidential candidate has mentioned muslims in europe as a potential threat to our national security.
Imagine pictures of peaceful protesters of SIOE being arrested while European hating members of AEL get to parade their hate proudly and with protection of the police.
We need to see the results of both SOIE’s appeal and of the initial request by AEL.
Now there’s a shock-Freddy Der Fuhrer forbids an anti-atrocity march but it’s quite alright for those who favor more 9/11’s to run around and chant such peaceful slogans such as “Death to America” and “Kill the Zionists”. The real fun will come when the peaceful ones thank the fearless mayor for allowing this in the usual manner come Ramadamn.
And to think Britain entered WW1 because the Germans invaded Belgium and were committing atrocities. If this is what Belgium has come to it would have been better to have let the Germans keep the place.
We have been running a series on my Word Press blog entitled Studies In Islam and we have had around 5K hits on that series alone.
We are hoping that the hits are from people wanting to learn of that which we face.
