Yes, there is a noticable absence of patriotic movies these days. They exist, but rarely make it to the theatre. Jeffrey Dahmer should have considered a career in entertainment since "SAW" meets the Hollyweird standard. After previewing a portion of SAW (available on cable), I couldn't help but think the theme could have been instructive for the methods of torture described in some individual accounts from the Bosnian/Serb/Croatian war theatre. But then, that wouldn't meet PC standards. Interesting show.
