Jammeh Calls for Islamic Solidarity while blaming the West

From allAfrica.com with some spelling edits by me for good measure and better English:

As Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid-ul-fitr, commonly known as Koriteh, which marks the end of the month of Ramadan, President Yahya Jammeh, has called on the Islamic Ummah to be steadfast, bold and united in the spirit of Islam to condemn any form of attack on the Islamic religion.

President Jammeh made this statement at State House, Banjul, when Muslim leaders in and around Banjul, paid their usual courtesy call on him. He revealed that out of one hundred people, who die every day, ninety-nine percent of them are Muslims. He raised concern that in the 21st century, Islam is being fought by very powerful enemies. He then noted that instead of Muslims being united, they are made to fight against each other.

Well, at least Jammeh explains who is killing all those Muslims: other Muslims.

Jammeh said “there is what is called fight against terror.” Yes, it is true that terror must be fought against, but those who lead the fight against terror are themselves fighting against Islam, which is unacceptable.

If that statement were actually true, Jammeh, I wouldn’t be this pissed off all the time. This reminds me of how the Nazis cried foul constantly in political houses during the day, while beating people senseless at night in the streets of Berlin.

If you are fighting evil, you must fight it wherever it exists, even in your own family. Today, in the so-called fight against terror, only one set are claimed to be terrorists, that’s the Muslim religion. What about the white supremacy and the Neo-Nazis killing innocent people, because they are not white and the West have never referred to them as terrorists. Today, the non-Muslim world- the anti-Islamic forces in the world, have denounced Sharia Law as bad and intolerant law in the world. Some of the so-called Muslims adhere to this and started to fight the Sharia law, referring it to as the worst and unaccetable law.”.

It isn’t enough that the very word Nazi is synonymous with evil in Western culture?

You bad, bad “white supremacists” out there (that must be all of us light-skinned European-types apparently), you should stop poking a finger at nice, old Sharia Law. The next time a hurricane rampages towards the shore, I want you to get into the nearest boat and sail on out to greet it, too. Hello, Hurricane! Hello, Sharia!

The Gambian leader, said “if you call yourself a Muslim, and believe in the supremacy of the Almighty Allah, while labelling Sharia as a bad law, then you are bound to go to hell,” noting that Sharia law is the law of the Almighty God.

We all know what Christianity have done to humanity. During the time of the inquisition when you don’t believe in what the Priest or Bishop says, you are burnt in the name of Christianity. But, today they say beheading people in the name of Sharia is inhuman and bad, when they (Christians) used to burn people in those days. Hanging and electrifying someone to death, is not a way of killing a person, according to the Sharia law. We must be steadfast to our beliefs, otherwise when we die, we will all go to hell. It is very cleared in the Holy Qur’an that there is one thing that Allah would not forgive, that’s ascribing partners to him.

You would think that this Inquisition thing went on for a very, very long time. It certainly is brought up often enough by Islamic apologists and self-deprecating Westerners (especially atheists) in order to point shame at Christianity, much like the Crusades are taken completely out of context as well. While no doubt evil was done during the Inquisition, it was stopped was it not — by Christians? The sum total of deaths in the Spanish Inquisition has been eclipsed by just one bad year of Islamic terrorism in the 21st century.

We cannot worship the West and worship Allah at the same time. When they wanted to subjugate Africa and the Third World, what did they bring, Christianity. We became subordinate to them and when they wanted to rule the whole world, they brought Christianity and gave us the impressions that, being Black means being evil and when we die, we are not going to heaven. So, the only way we can go to heaven, is to adhere to Christianity and take the whiteman’s name for one to go to heaven”, President Jammeh said.

Apparently Darfur and the Muslim-Arab racism that is fueling those atrocities against black Muslims by non-black Muslims isn’t on Jammeh’s spiritual radar. One must wonder what African-Americans would have to say to Jammeh; the vast majority of blacks in America are good Christians.

He further revealed that the four hundred years of colonialism, has brought nothing to Africans, except loss of culture and tradition. Consequent upon this, he said Africa is up till now backward, citing that fourty-two years of The Gambia’s independence, what has the colonialist done for us?

“They have come to Africa and stole our resources to develop themselves. Now they have come to us again and want to colonise us, through the name of democracy, because they now know that they cannot come to us using the same tactics of Christianity. They then decided to come with democracy. If democracy is all about development and they know that democracy started in Greece, why is it that they did not stay in Europe and take their democracy, but instead ignored that democracy, because of abject poverty, and then came to rub Africa and Asia,” he pointed out.

President Jammeh further revealed that he believes in one system of democracy and that’s the only type of democracy that will prevail in The Gambia. He then noted that “we should believe in ourselves and have faith in our religion and our cultural beliefs and values”.

Furthermore, he slammed the attempt “to democratise the Middle East”. “We Muslims have seen our way and we don’t want anyone further to come to show us the way or lead us. Everyday they provoke Islam, both in their media and by politicians. Unfortunately, they are using our wealth in some Muslim countries to fight against Islam, which is very sad- a typical example is what is happenng in Iraq. If you ask the Iraqis today, they will prefer Saddam Hussein’s government to what is happening there. They killed Saddam for killing 148 people, who attempted on his life. We know those who killed him, because we know that he was not killed by the Iraqis, but people outside Iraq.

You can not give freedom to those that do not wish to be free. Muslims pray five times a day to a mythical deity that they perceive as Master, not benevolent provider and still we have Western leaders believing that Democracy can make a difference in the Islamic world. We have so little faith in our own convictions that we project that same lack of will upon our enemies. The Muslims may be many things but they are not without conviction.

Freedom should be earned, but most of all, Freedom must be protected. If the Ummah wishes to not live in democratic freedom then we should at least have the fortitude and clarity of thought to tell the Ummah that we do not want Islam to be a part of our democracies. The two are incompatible. Those that do not see that are simply and painfully ignorant or living in quiet fear of Islamic reprisal.

From the day of the invasion to now, how many millions of Iraqis have lost their lives, freedom and properties. What is amazing is that, they said Saddam have killed 148 people, and was killed by hanging, ” he added.

President Jammeh pointed out that the “Coalition of Evil and Satan” wasted no time to hire mercenaries to kill Iraqis. ” Saddam Hussein was a citizen and the leader of Iraq. They have attempted to take his life and the trial law says if you intend to take a person’s life, your life should be taken too. Are they fighting Islam or terrorism?

I’ll tell you how many “millions of Iraqis” have lost their lives since the “invasion”, Jammeh: no millions. Your math is funny, Jammeh.

Darfur assault victimDo you mean to try to tell me, Jammeh, that Islam isn’t fighting the entire world but the world is fighting Islam? I understand that you do not want us to fight back, and indeed we really aren’t, and yet you wish to turn this into a defensive war — a grand jihad. You wish to perpetuate Sharia Law and depose democracy and not have to fight over people’s right to freedom and fear from oppression and cultist dogma unless you Muslims somehow look like the victims. You might just get your way. My countrymen are fast asleep and Europe is easily bullied into submission. History has shown us that. Why should things get any better for the non-Muslim world when it is so obviously Islam that is suffering? The poor, downtrodden Ummah. Oh, my!

“We all know what Christianity have done to humanity. During the time of the inquisition when you don’t believe in what the Priest or Bishop says, you are burnt in the name of Christianity.”

Typical Muslim defense. Justify Islam’s evil with what Christianity did hundreds of years ago.

That’s an old , tired, feeble attempt to deceive, used by deceivers and apologists all the time, while not caring to divulge this fact:

Christianity grew up. Islam did not.

The Spanish Inquisition happened centuries ago. Islamic terrorism, on the other hand, continues today.

The constant harping on the Spanish Inquisition and the Crusades is a red herring.

Islam has been enslaving Africa for for too long.
Now they want Europe and America.

Feds change security procedure for turban-wearers
    BY CAROL EISENBERG

    8:03 PM EDT, October 17, 2007

Beginning Oct. 27, airport screeners will no longer “pat down” people wearing religious head coverings — if the traveler agrees to undergo alternative security measures. Officials said such alternatives might include walking through a machine that detects explosive chemicals. Or wearers could agree to pat down their own turban, and then have their hands swabbed with a cloth that is tested for chemical traces.

Muslim groups also expressed relief at the policy change.
“All security procedures at airports need constant updating and adjustment we appreciate the fact that the TSA is taking the concerns of the traveling public into account when making these adjustments,” said Ibrahim Hooper of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Washington, D.C.-based advocacy group

    .

CAROL EISENBERG should be called on the rug for not noting that CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in the HLF trial (verdict will be read on Monday). I pray the delay is because the Feds are preparing for the anticipated seethfest upon a guilty verdict.

:offtopic: on a lighter note . . .how about some laughs with some Asian humor (really!) by comedian Russell Peters :thumbup_tb:

One is not likely to find such comedic gold in the Muslim sphere as demonstrated in Al Brooks 2005 film Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World :y4tsearch:

film trivia: Sony Pictures Classics was originally going to distribute the film in the USA but chose not to, citing controversy over the film’s title, which they wanted to change.

“[in] fourty-two years of The Gambia’s independence, what has the colonialist done for us?”
Well, that’s the point of being independent, right? I’d say you’ve had 42 years to show the world what you can achieve, when you’re no longer being ‘looted’.
But historically Islamic states have never developed themselves. And that’s all due to backward Islam. How can anyone invent something if he/she’s not allowed to think?

“Hanging and electrifying someone to death, is not a way of killing a person, according to the Sharia law”
Does he mean to say they don’t end up being dead?
Always makes me wonder what those guys would do when being helpless with a knife against their throat.
I’d say exterminating these Islamic cockroaches is not killing them either. So what’s holding Bush?

Democracy is exploited for the purpose of Islam. Once it is acheived, it becomes a totalitarian and dictatorship state.
