More Common Sense from Ted Nugent

God love Ted Nugent. He knows what’s right, makes no apologies for it and actually stands up against evil. Plain old Texan common sense.

Here is a segment where Ted Nugent discusses the 2nd Amendment with Evan Smith, host of the KLRU program Texas Monthly Talks and editor of Texas Monthly magazine. What’s said doesn’t specifically apply to any recent topics here, but at the same time it applies to all of them in general. You’ll hear what I mean:

    Sanity cubed.

Of related note: There is another video available, one that clearly explains the need for the second amendment and the consequences to those civilizations that didn’t value such rights.

Ted is just a throw back to what used to make this nation so great. He has the attitude I don’t give a crap what the looney left says and I’m gonna live life according to my own convictions. Even though Ted is not a professing Christian…I can stand arm in arm with people like him because a free country is a free country, and I can pursue my personal destiny the same as him without each of us losing our rights to self preservation and the pursuit of happiness.

Down with Islam…and long live the U.S. republic!!!

    The man’s got a point.

In The Netherlands a car dealer is on trial for molesting a burglar. His car dealership got burgled two times inside a couple of months and the third time he got face to face with the armed burglar. The car dealer then hit the burglar a few times with a baseball bat. The guy ended up with a bruise on his back and a head wound, according to the car dealer because the guy hit it on a fence after he’d clobbered him on the back.

Prosecution demands that the car dealer who spent two weeks in prison already, attends an aggression containment training. Another demand is 6 months prison in case he does it agian (can’t think of the English term for that at the moment). The burglar is a repeat offender with a list of crimes and is already out on the streets again.

My view: anybody that feels he does not need to respect other peoples individual rights forfaits those of his own. He wants to rob someone and gets caught: tough luck. He didn’t need to burgle the place so he cannot complain he got hurt in the process. But self defense is not allowed here. “He neede to count to 10 first”. Yeah, so his family can start arranging for the funeral.
