Pat Condell Strikes Again

The irreverent atheist Pat Condell never ceases to amuse me with how he dissects Islam into all its bigoted parts. Thanks to Gates of Vienna for posting this latest of Condell’s videos, this one having to do with the upcoming farce called the Second Arab-European Dialogue on Human Rights and Terrorism. The point of the conference being imposed dhimmitude:

Saudi Arabia’s Human Rights Commission (HRC) will urge its counterparts in the European Union to ask their governments not to link terrorism to Islam and also to issue regulations to protect Muslims from prejudice and discrimination because of their faith.

Um. Sure and pigs fly. (If pigs ever do fly I hope they make a beeline for Mecca.)

I don’t agree with Pat Condell on many things, Israel for one, but he clearly understands the threat of Islam and Sharia to western sensibilities.

He begins today’s rant discussing how Saudi Arabia’s Human Rights Commission (HRC)plans on ‘taking the piss’ at the Second Arab-European Dialogue on Human Rights and Terrorism, which is to be held in Copenhagen on October 21st through 23rd.

This seems to follow an event discussed at LGF yesterday - a two-day OSCE conference that began in Spain Tuesday.

The coordination of efforts is alarming.

Delegations from the 56 nations that make up the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) are taking part in the conference in the southern Spanish city of Cordoba on the topic of intolerance toward Muslims.

Spain currently holds the rotating presidency of the OSCE, which promotes human rights, democracy and conflict prevention in Europe, North America and Central Asia.

Arab League Secretary-General Amr Mussa told the gathering that after the end of the Cold War, “conservative extremists in certain Western circles” needed to find a new enemy. “We can’t live in stability and security if some are perceived as first class citizens and others second class citizens. This has to disappear,” he added.

Having read Bat Ye’Or’s “Eurabia”, my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to check whether the OSCE was one of the organizations listed in the original Eurabia matrix. A quick scan of the book did not reveal OSCE’s existence but the nature of this organization bears the stench of Euro-Arab Dialogue spawn.

Examining the OSCE website, however did raise an eyebrow. Take note of the identity of regions they serve:

    Regions
    South-Eastern Europe
    Eastern Europe
    Caucasus
    Central Asia
    Western Europe and North America

Here is how they further describe their activities/interests:

    Western Europe and North America
OSCE activities in Western Europe and North America include preventative diplomacy, partnering with organizations, institutions and NGOs for security and co-operation, election monitoring, media affairs and gender issues.

They hide nothing. The tentacles of sharia creep are ever more visible.

BTW, when and how did NGO’s become so politically influential? The influence of certain un-elected/unaccountable groups is mind boggling.

Also want to mention that the website for the OSCE appears to have gone down since I first looked at it. Perhaps they weren’t prepared for the lizard avalanche.

I did send their page to my e-box and noted the following internal links from the site for future reference (I’m taking the liberty of posting this information for posterity as well):

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe
The OSCE is the world’s largest regional security organization whose 56 participating States span the geographical area from Vancouver to Vladivostok.

    About

    Chairmanship

The responsibilities of the Chairman-in-Office (CiO) include

    co-ordination of the work of OSCE Institutions;
    representing the Organization;
supervising activities related to conflict prevention, crisis management and post-conflict rehabilitation.
The Chairmanship rotates annually, and the post of the Chairman-in-Office is held by the Foreign Minister of a participating State. The CiO is assisted by the previous and succeeding Chairmen; the three of them together constitute the Troika. The origin of the institution lies with the Charter of Paris for a New Europe (1990), the Helsinki Document 1992 formally institutionalized this function.

heroyalwhyness, I hear a huge sucking sound in Europe, Europe has left it’s senses and is gone, Eurabia is born, and coming soon to North America, a cancer that does not intend to creep much longer, and where the royal red carpet is being rolled out in preparation.

These are not comforting thoughts. Is there no end to this madness?

I wonder what Mr. Condell would have to say about THIS? You have to read it to believe it! In NYC!

I agree with the point about Israel: He is wrong for sure about Jerusalem. The rest is bold and one can’t help but wonder how he gets away with it. I hope he keeps doing it :)
Even though I might take offense at some of what he says - it’s almost worth it!

I read about the Empire State Building on Andrew Bolt’s ‘blog forum thread today. (I think FH has a link to his site.)

Clearly NYC has forgotten about 9/11. Does anyone know if anything like this has happened before? If there really are only 7 million muslims in the USA why so many concessions?

(I could use crude language but I will refrain).

I’ve been in a funk all day long over what’s going to happen this weekend to the Empire State Building. Early this morning, I posted on the significance of what’s going to happen this weekend in NYC. The catharsis didn’t help much, though. I have a sadness of spirit right now.

My post about the real meaning of Ramadan will stay up through the weekend.
