Thanks Foehammer,
Rube Goldberg was a childhood icon of mine & I think he led me to a career as a mechanical designer, many years of which I spent fighting “The Bear”.

I have always found puzzles and jury-rigged machines fascinating. There is only so much time for pure anti-jihad in a week anyway.

Hey, wait, maybe this isn’t O/T after all! It shows the amazing intricacy of a project that DIYers can successfully complete ON THEIR OWN, with no involvement by any governmental body, the MSM, think tanks, academia, or any other self-ordained elites!

The take-home lesson for all of us: If we want to accomplish anything - whether it’s local autonomy, economic development, leadership, mobilizing the public, defense against terrorism - we CAN and SHOULD go right ahead and do it ourselves!
