A Simple Question

In light of some very heated arguments here at the Anvil, I got to thinking about the fundamentals again. I believe this is as good a time as any to put together a new poll to put into rotation. Think about this one carefully and then select your response, because very often a simple question brings us closer to the most difficult of answers.

“……intruded upon your life and your peace of mind?” [Foehammer]

Well, Robert Spencer zeroed in on it at Jihad Watch today in his evaluation of the ‘Islam is Peace’ campaign in the UK:

In Part 4 of my video examination of the UK’s “Islam is Peace” campaign, I discuss the third point: “To call upon the government to create a just and lasting peace…” What could be wrong with that? Plenty, actually: it amounts to a threat: change your policies or face more terror attacks.

That’s right, change our policies, our laws, our culture, our thoughts, to accomodate Islam. Even Bush was chastised for using the phrase “Islamic fascists”, since it offended Muslims.

Why am I so sick of it all? Every concession is met with a new demand. We can see what is coming. Islam is not secular, it seeks to devour and the sooner everyone figures that out, the better. :furious_tb:

Was this poll directed at the lizard elites?

Islamania has intruded upon everyone’s life. Our tax money is going to fight these fiends-that alone is an intrusion. Then there’s the constant pandering to that bunch-the result of which we will feel down the road. And of course Islamania takes away time, money and effort from other problems that need to be dealt with. We all feel the intrusion in some way.

Not really my overt intent, but as with everything I do here at the Anvil, if thought foments real change, that means it will start at the roots and one day reach the leaves. So, yes, I suppose you could say I’m aiming high.

I live in that glorious part of the US that is relatively free from Islamania’s influence. What glorious part? It’s called the Southeastern US, in a Congressional District that has never, never had a Democrat for a rep. How’s that for a Southern district? I did vote yes because Islam has really screwed up my peace of mind.

    Foe,

The poll also begs the question, “if it does, what should be done to give you peace of mind”?

    Pelayo,

Sounds like you live in paradise.

What is so troubling for me is that our addiction to Middle Eastern oil is what powers that which we fear most. Who’s willing to stop driving, getting dry cleaning, buying high performance gear like Underarmor? We all become Amish?

Until we deal with OUR addiction, we live in functional dhimmitude already. And our foes know it.

I actually had one Muslim at work threaten me indirectly saying “doing something like that where I come from, people get killed for”.

    What did I do?

Me and another co-worker were goofing around throwing a ball and it landed about 5 feet from him and he thought I was trying to hit him.

Thanks for the link, Emperor Palpatine. An entirely plausible pattern of events. The Al Gore reference was great, but the response to Jesse Jackson? Priceless.

Islamisforlosers pretty much nails it. However, I am blessed to be fairly isolated from the religion of peace because I live in WY.

Emperor Palpatine thanks for that link. It’s entirely plausible. It sheds light on the sad state of affairs in all these western countries and the travesty is: the lunatics are truly running the asylum.

“Do you feel as if Islam and its followers have somehow intruded upon your life and your peace of mind?”

I would prefer to think in terms of the following:

Do you feel as if Islam and some of its followers have somehow intruded upon your life and your peace of mind?

The day that a practicing muslim admits their religion is a screw-up, that the jihad verses have to go and sharia along with it I’ll feel theres some hope for islam. Of course that won’t happen because any muslim that advocates this kind of genuine reform (not the “Muslims against sharia” propaganda) gets whacked. Islams a dead end in that regard, literally.
As for ’some of its followers’ intruding into my life, even Wafa Sultan stated that every muslim is a problem for the West and should be watched. It’s the whole damned islamic package,
And I see the hijabi brownshirts wandering around the place and all I can see is an occupying force and a daily reminder that the government can’t protect us anymore.
Well, it’s not quite as serious as that where I live, but I can see where all this is headed.

This is what youngmuslims are teaching young Muslims:

“In the world there is only one party of God; all others are parties of Satan and rebellion.”

“There is only one law which ought to be followed, and that is the Shari’ah from God; anything else is mere emotionalism and impulsiveness.”

“There is only one place on earth which can be called the home of Islam (Dar-ul-Islam), and it is that place where the Islamic state is established and the Shari’ah is the authority and God’s limits are observed, and where all the Muslims administer the affairs of the state with mutual consultation. The rest of the world is the home of hostility (Dar-ul-Harb). A Muslim can have only two possible relations with Dar-ul- Harb: peace with a contractual agreement, or war. A country with which there is a treaty will not be considered the home of Islam.”

“The callers to Islam should not have any superficial doubts in their hearts concerning the nature of Jahiliyyah and the nature of Islam, and the characteristics of Dar-ul-Harb and of Dar-ul-Islam, for through these doubts many are led to confusion. Indeed, there is no Islam in a land where Islam is not dominant and where its Shari’ah is not established; and that place is not Dar-ul-Islam where Islam’s way of life and its laws are not practiced. There is nothing beyond faith except unbelief, nothing beyond Islam except Jihiliyyah, nothing beyond the truth except falsehood.”

What do Muslims in the west think about all this?
