Open Thread: The Coming Third World War

Jihad 2007It’s Open Thread Sunday here at the Anvil again already, but today I want you to go read an article by British Author Paul Weston over at Gates of Vienna (hat-tip: Sounder).

Here’s a taste:

When Francis Fukuyama wrote The End of History and the Last Man in 1993, it was to argue that Western liberal democracy and free market economics meant an end to warfare within the west, and by default, the end of history.

Fukuyama was drawing on Winston Churchill, who stated: “The history of man is war”, thus allowing Fukuyama to propose that a future consisting of perpetual peace meant an end to history itself, history being simply a narrative of warfare, conquest and re-conquest, rather than which queen succeeded which king and on which date.

This idea that warfare within the West is now a thing of the past seems to be shared by an overwhelming section of Western people, reared as they are on a diet of enlightened tolerance and historical ignorance.

In 1990 it would have been relatively difficult to argue with Fukuyama’s prophecy. The West, excluding the inevitable frictions that came with the break up of the Soviet Union, was clearly not going to engage in the type of politics that led to the two world wars, whilst the demise of Communism meant an end to the global proxy wars between Russia and America.

What Fukuyama failed to realise, however, was that the ingredient for yet another “war to end all wars” was already in place. The cultural clashes between fascism, communism and liberal democracies had simply been replaced with another culture that would inevitably clash with the Western host cultures — Islam.

I first heard of the tensions within our own U.S. government and military concerning the threat of Islamism back when I was in my twenties. The warning came from my own father. You might ask how my father knew such information was valid, and to that I’ll just have to shrug my shoulders and say that even I am not quite so sure of everything concerning the past history of service with the ‘old man’; much is clouded in nebulous information, which is often the case if someone in your own family may have served in some branch of an intelligence agency for the Federal Government. What I do know is that my typically aloof father had a stack of newspaper clippings a few inches high of terrorist incidents concerning Muslims — and that is how our conversation began.

That conversation between my dad and I occurred before the first Gulf War.

The state of war is real, folks. What have you got to say about that?

This thread is now open for discussion on any topic of your choosing, but I know I’ve given you something to work with this morning. Oops! :wink3:

Some key points made by Paul Weston in the linked article:

“The fact that it is radical Islam as opposed to moderate Islam is immaterial. In WWII Germany was our enemy, not the Nazis, just as Islam is our enemy today and not radical Islam. I am sorry to have to say this, but war entails polarisation of differing races/religions; the pieties of multiculturalism are reserved only for times of peace.”

That truth will really hurt … some people. How dare he.

“And we are getting angrier by the day as we watch the television news, read the newspapers and listen to Islamic rhetoric calling for the overthrow of the West; a call apparently supported by our ruling elites who choose to clamp down on their indigenous people who dare to complain, rather than the perpetrators themselves.”

Yes let’s just reform ourselves for the sake of the Muslim minority in our midst. I mean, how self preservationist or racist can one be anyway?

The imminent danger is this is unfixable, unless drastic measures are taken, especially in Europe, as Weston says:

“Many European cities are on the brink of Muslim majorities already; within the next twenty years this will only escalate with increasing rapidity. At some point in the not too distant future, Europeans will have nowhere left to run.”

“Within twenty years we will see two juggernauts of equal size, traveling in opposite directions on the same side of the road with the all too obvious result: collision circa 2025 or earlier, depending on their speed.”

No where to run physically and no where to run ideologically unless the coming collision can be avoided.

The sad part is, there are leaders who would be just a happy to do nothing but kow tow and coddle Islam, put down the indigenous population, like Livingston of Londonistan.

    How deranged can we be.

Funny how Foehammer mentioned the coversation he had with his dad years ago about the upcoming menace of Islamania. My old man mentioned years ago something similar-how we’d one day have another depression type event and that it would bring about a dictatorship right here in the US. Given how many different interests try to damage the US economy and given the rising tide of disgust in the nation with politicians from both parties all this might come to pass. I hope not, but the signs don’t look too good.

As for history “ending” because warfare is at an end fear not-there will always be groups of people in this world opposing each other over one issue or another. Islamania could disappear tomorrow and we will have something else ready to cause misery and conflict. It seems like man is just destined to always be embroiled in conflict.

Another good read at Up Pompeii

    THE FEAST OF FOOLS

We in this country are the Victims of Minorities, the Muslim lobby in the UK has been given such power and prominence that it now effectively tells the Government what to do especially in the area of Foreign policy and “equalities” issues.”

“The Government of course denies this but that is only for our comsumption. the raft of legislation that is now on the statute books is designed to subdue the population of this country and stop any criticism of Islam or Muslims.”

The beast has got too big for the Government, it is frightened of Islam, it is frightened that if they start to limit the activities of this pernicious faith the consequences will be more 7/7’s, the Government is bowing to blackmail.”

Ah, er .. hand them a pistol?

With all this and the recent problems with LGF and other ‘blogs this is the most convincing line:

“The second ingredient for war is anger and resentment amongst a unified mass majority. Despite the breadth of difference between Christian, post-Christian, Jew, agnostic, atheist, male, female, homosexual and heterosexual, the common thread that unites the people of the liberal West is no longer what we are, but what we are not. We are not Islamic, and — voluntarily — never will be.”

With everything going on at LGF, I posted a request for people to protest a GENUINE, AVOWED, flagrantly overt and violent Croatian Nazi musician now touring the US and Canada.

    (crickets chirping)

So I posted it here. Please call or write the State Dept in US and Canada to complain.

Islamforlosers, my late mother, who was a devout christian, made a passing comment some years ago about muslims wanting to take over the world. Back then, I was as oblivious as the next guy about islam, and didn’t think much of it. Now I know better, and see what she was talking about.

So I went from being a moonbatty, anti-isreali smartass to someone who can’t understand how islam is still being tolerated at all. I think alot must have made that little journey, and the ones who haven’t, lord knows I can’t help them.

    @ 1389

You are right of course about the neo-nazi musicians.

I somehow feel that the west should have done more to stamp this out straight after WW2. I know they tried,,,,could be too late now.The muslim world has seen to that.

My feeling now is that people have almost “forgotten” the evils of nazism as many who recall it well are old or dead.

Now of course we have holocaust deniers who get away with all this and this aids and abets neo-nazism.

Then we have the press, who since the 1970’s have turned on Israel when previously they were supporters.
I somehow doubt this is a coincidence.

We can also see that “anti-semitism” has now morphed into “anti-zionism”.It is more PC, but to me the end result if both -isms is the same and I am not going to debate the semantics of it with anyone. I also get annoyed with muslim posters on ‘blogs who claim they are ’semites’ - sure they are!
Then again, not all Jews are semites either. Yemeni Jews are most certainly not of the same race as Azkenazi Jews, as far as I know.
(please feel free to correct me).

What worries me the most is that we are cultivating the terrorist mentality right in our own backyards by appeasing and tolerating those that engage in domestic terrorism by abusing our elders in order to feed them and the corrupt legal system that feeds of the misery others.

Until we begin being strong enough to take care of our own, the situation will continue to deteriorate until we are full of these varmins that feed on misery,of others and then ,and only then we might realize that we were coddling up to the wrong people.

TENC: Oppose Fascist Rock Star’s US Tour With the Truth (Part 1)

I’m beginning to wonder if this creep is getting a free pass because he is yelling for people to “kill Serbs.” As a Serbian-American, I’ve been getting the impression that if somebody promises to rid the world of us pesky Serbs, then all else they do–no matter what it is–gets an automatic stamp of approval. (Yes, I admit it, I have a personal interest in putting the kibosh on this guy.)

To make things easier for everyone, I have added some contact information at the beginning of that article about protesting against the admission of “Thompson” to the US and to Canada.

Please send this information around to everyone you know who might be interested.

Let’s see who’s really concerned about this, and who’s just using the issue as a way of besmirching those who want to take a harder line on the issue of Islam.

    Thanks!
