41 Percent of Al Qaeda fighters in Iraq are Saudis

I just heard the most predictable factoid: 41% of Al Qaeda fighters in Iraq are Saudi Arabians. Apparently record keeping by some Al Qaeda higher-ups has been captured by the U.S. military and careful records have revealed a detailed accounting of the social and regional makeup of the Al Qaeda operatives inside Iraq. Many of these Islamic terrorists are being recruited directly off of Islamic college campuses across the Middle East and around the world. This, again, is quite predictable.

Islam demands this sort of sacrifice and its followers anticipate rewards in Paradise. How can we continue to act as if this is just a symptom of “radical” Islam and still look ourselves in the mirror? I certainly gave up that notion years ago, so I’m not surprised by any of these revelations.

I wonder if a regime change in Riyadh would help somewhat? Replacing the monarchy with a republic probably won’t solve all problems with Saudi Arabia (the Koran itself lies at the problem) but getting rid of the corrupt royals there with their enormous wealth that they use to spread their corrosive influence all over the world would help. Plus it would break that long standing unholy alliance between the Wahbbi clerics and the royals who are doing their evil bidding with all that wealth. :ponder_tb:

Nothing surprising here. Back in the late 60’s, I looked at strategic aerial recon of “The Kingdom” which showed that they were playing the U.S. against the Soviets. Now there’re playing the radical Islamists against the Western world. As for overthrowing the regime, there are literally thousands of “royals” due to their prolific inbreeding. The only thing that can oust the royal family is radical Islam. Or…?
    :) :)

    “Or…?”

Oh, I dunno, perhaps super-heated sand turned to glass? I think the Islamic world better not wish too hard, it might just get the ticket to Paradise that it is dreaming of. We’ll just wait for events to unfold and see how patient the Western world is after Al Qaeda finally pops off the “next big thing” and then we find out that 50%+ of the attackers were more of “our Saudi friends” staying here in the States on student visas.

Ah, yes, you can envision the headlines already if you just shut your eyes for a minute…

BETRAYAL! THOUSANDS DEAD! RELIGION OF WAR? STRUCK AGAIN!

Just another example of why the Islamic belief system directly spawns these terrorists. Saudi Arabia is Islam in the nutshell, nothing shocking they are the no.1 supplier of them. Between them and Iran, they are like the mouth & eyes of the murder cult.

Ultimately defeating Jihad is not responding to the acts of terrorism & going where terrorists are, but yes we must act against their movements still. The head of the beast is Mecca. I frequently ask people this question…”How would Islam continue to march across the globe if Mecca didn’t exist anymore?” If they want their climatic end time confrontation, I say give it to them…our beliefs & culture is better prepared to live on, when their belief system is so tied into a literal location that can be snuffed out with a couple ICBMs.

If the House of Saud falls, I think that such a regime change would make Saudi another battleground where Al Qaeda would attempt to exert even more influence.

Now, don’t take what I said that wrong way. I am no fan of the Sauds! Not at all!

But I stated what I said because I have American friends in Saudi. Much as they despise Saudi and what goes on there, my friends tell me that regime change would result in an even worse situation.

The House of Saud plays a dangerous game–as they attempt to hold onto their power by any means possible. Furthermore, Saudi is funding the Islamification of the Western world–with OUR oil dollars.

41% of Al Qaeda fighters in Iraq are Muslim. Thats a even better headline. :-)

I believe letting the House of Saud would hurt big time in the short term but in the long run, a much better solution than allowing the Sauds to remain in power and fund terror, finance maddrasses and influence Western leaders.
