Senator Bob Kerrey is getting a lot of flack for his comments recently while endorsing Hillary Clinton. Kerrey’s “error” was trying to approach Barack Hussein Obama’s Muslim heritage in any way, shape or form, because the politicos out there will jump all over that out of ignorance and fear no matter what Kerrey’s intent was, positive or negative.
I couldn’t let this situation go by without making my own opinion heard. The simple fact is that all these talking heads that are so quick to try to analyze Bob Kerrey’s intentions with regard to his comments about Obama’s Muslim family members are all completely off the mark from what I have heard today. Both sides seems to think that it is either fine to bring up Obama’s Muslim heritage as an entirely positive thing or not to mention it in any other light. Both views are patently ridiculous and once again show the utter lack of fortitude and education that the average news-hound or politician possesses when it comes to the truth about Islam. It rankles me, quite honestly, to continue to have to listen to these lemmings chime in with their muffin-brained opinions, but that is, unfortunately, the nature of newscasts in the modern world. News is no longer simply reported, but editorialized to the nth degree.
Barack Obama has a Muslim father and grandmother. If anyone believes for one minute that this does not affect his outlook on the world and will thereby make him more sympathetic to the Islamic world in particular, then you aren’t thinking straight. Obviously this is a major issue to anyone that has actually gone out and investigated Islam since the 9-11 attacks or before. I do not view this as a character-assassination attempt on my part when I bring up this issue. I view this as being rational and objective. To ignore the reality that Obama was a Muslim before his 7th birthday is to hide one’s head in the sand.
I dealt with this ideological/religious issue more than once some months ago when this debate first arose and nothing, not one iota of the issue, has changed in any way. Barack Obama was a Muslim. Barack Obama has close Muslim family members. Barack Obama should therefore never be President of the United States.
Is my well-reasoned bias against Islam not clear enough for you yet? Look around the Anvil some more; you’ll get the picture if you actually take the time to examine the evidence.
My clear and pointed reasoning here can also go very far to show you why I will not endorse Huckabee or Romney. Both Romney and Huckabee have seen fit to make speeches that discuss in great detail “religious freedom” but neither one of them took the time to attempt to hold Islam up to the magnifying glass while doing so. Both these men have done a disservice to the United States by equating all religions equally. This is irrational and dangerous behavior on the part of men who believe themselves capable of leading the strongest nation in the history of the world during, what I view, as the most perilous time in our history.
When a leader actually has the wisdom and courage to stand up and state that Islam should be brought before the United States Congress for examination and public hearings so that we all might finally understand the truth about what we are facing, a danger far more pervasive and subversive than Soviet Communism ever was, then that leader should be in the running for the U.S. Presidency at some point in the future. Right now I do not believe any such leader in the public spotlight exists.
If I have offended anyone with my thoughts in this brief editorial today, I absolutely meant to do so. Free speech isn’t about talking sweet and nice and holding hands all day. The truth hurts and my truth burns like Hell. Get used to it, because I intend to say a lot of very bold things during the next few decades until this war is won. There is definitely a long, fiery road ahead of us all.
