Criticism of Obama’s Muslim background is absolutely justified

Senator Bob Kerrey is getting a lot of flack for his comments recently while endorsing Hillary Clinton. Kerrey’s “error” was trying to approach Barack Hussein Obama’s Muslim heritage in any way, shape or form, because the politicos out there will jump all over that out of ignorance and fear no matter what Kerrey’s intent was, positive or negative.

I couldn’t let this situation go by without making my own opinion heard. The simple fact is that all these talking heads that are so quick to try to analyze Bob Kerrey’s intentions with regard to his comments about Obama’s Muslim family members are all completely off the mark from what I have heard today. Both sides seems to think that it is either fine to bring up Obama’s Muslim heritage as an entirely positive thing or not to mention it in any other light. Both views are patently ridiculous and once again show the utter lack of fortitude and education that the average news-hound or politician possesses when it comes to the truth about Islam. It rankles me, quite honestly, to continue to have to listen to these lemmings chime in with their muffin-brained opinions, but that is, unfortunately, the nature of newscasts in the modern world. News is no longer simply reported, but editorialized to the nth degree.

Barack Obama has a Muslim father and grandmother. If anyone believes for one minute that this does not affect his outlook on the world and will thereby make him more sympathetic to the Islamic world in particular, then you aren’t thinking straight. Obviously this is a major issue to anyone that has actually gone out and investigated Islam since the 9-11 attacks or before. I do not view this as a character-assassination attempt on my part when I bring up this issue. I view this as being rational and objective. To ignore the reality that Obama was a Muslim before his 7th birthday is to hide one’s head in the sand.

I dealt with this ideological/religious issue more than once some months ago when this debate first arose and nothing, not one iota of the issue, has changed in any way. Barack Obama was a Muslim. Barack Obama has close Muslim family members. Barack Obama should therefore never be President of the United States.

Is my well-reasoned bias against Islam not clear enough for you yet? Look around the Anvil some more; you’ll get the picture if you actually take the time to examine the evidence.

My clear and pointed reasoning here can also go very far to show you why I will not endorse Huckabee or Romney. Both Romney and Huckabee have seen fit to make speeches that discuss in great detail “religious freedom” but neither one of them took the time to attempt to hold Islam up to the magnifying glass while doing so. Both these men have done a disservice to the United States by equating all religions equally. This is irrational and dangerous behavior on the part of men who believe themselves capable of leading the strongest nation in the history of the world during, what I view, as the most perilous time in our history.

When a leader actually has the wisdom and courage to stand up and state that Islam should be brought before the United States Congress for examination and public hearings so that we all might finally understand the truth about what we are facing, a danger far more pervasive and subversive than Soviet Communism ever was, then that leader should be in the running for the U.S. Presidency at some point in the future. Right now I do not believe any such leader in the public spotlight exists.

If I have offended anyone with my thoughts in this brief editorial today, I absolutely meant to do so. Free speech isn’t about talking sweet and nice and holding hands all day. The truth hurts and my truth burns like Hell. Get used to it, because I intend to say a lot of very bold things during the next few decades until this war is won. There is definitely a long, fiery road ahead of us all.

Muslim appeasement and absolution is not an ignorant act by dimwits, as a piece on a Danish site will show you. This applies to Eurabia, but from all the signs it applies equally to the US.
From the article some quotes made by a Danish Foreign Ministry servant during a speech in Rabat, Morocco:

‘We will tackle stereotypes and prejudices and ignorance and change the daily ‘news journalism’ to portray every-day life of ordinary people, which can create identification and fascination – nd intercultural understanding. We will tackle our stereotypic images of people from foreign cultures and make new experiments with pictures in public places, in the media, and advertising.

And we will have common projects with people from other cultures. We will develop the intercultural skills of journalists, school pupils and artists and exchange people from these groups with (muslim) colleagues. We will manage art and cultural productions. We will train the school teachers and influence their education to be multicultural.

And we will influence the curricula of the schools to become multicultural by means of revision of existing textbooks and educational materials.

We will arrange giant Muslim Youth Festivals - like the ‘Images of The Middle East’, which lasted 6 weeks in 2006 in Denmark.

That’s propaganda for you. Goebbels was an anfänger. Makes the hairs in my neck stand up…

Anybody read Joe Kaufmann’s story? He’s targeted by a number of Islamic groups for what I think you could call defamation by association, althouigh they do not seem to be associated to the ‘offended’ party at all…

If by some chance Obama get the nomination I will for the 1st time in my life go with another party. before 9/11 religion would have played no part in who I voted for. It does now. We are hunting Osama and we would elect Obama? He killed Saddam Hussein and we would elect Obama Hussein? How insane is that. John Edwards would by far be my 1st choice but since the race seems to be between Obama and Hillary I would be afraid to not vote for her.

“If not how can non-Muslims rid the world of Islam without ridding itself of the followers of Islam?”

Follow the Saudi method. Start treating Muslims as Islam treats non Muslims.

Making assumptions about my religion is insulting to me and you didn’t like it either so I believe we are in agreement on that. Had I known that a traditional greeting would insult you I would not have used it. You read in to my use of saved and I in turn read in to you peace be unto you and responded with assalamu alaikum (peace be with you). Simplifying the Indian White conflict into genocidal vs. flower picker (no quote, exaggeration) is another insult, IMHO. You know, I have an aunt that lives in Africa part time, so I suppose that gives me the right to criticize African slaughter, slavery and racism that has gone on for centuries and still does today, right? Can you explain to me how blacks and whites have gone in the same direction because from what I see you are concerned about past injustices as in American slavery? I will tell you that slavery is heading for a comeback make no mistake about it, It won’t be being practiced by the likes of me and the fact that you don’t appear to see the writing on the wall makes me extremely concerned for all of our futures. I ask you because I want to learn but I wont speak to you like a baby, I speak to you man to man. I believe some blacks and whites have gone in the same direction, but that works both ways. It is not about color any longer and those that think it is are destined to become isolated and probably wiped out. It is about what you think and what you value those are where the battle lines are being drawn. I will acknowledge that many blacks do quite well in America, they graduate, get jobs, raise families but you must acknowledge that there is another side that has been taught that their problems are caused by others and this isn’t exclusive to blacks. Labeling, we are tired of because many leftard race baiters come to these sites, we see them on TV they have become mmm pundits, leftard politicians and race baiting agitators the result of that is a naturally healthy suspicion when ever we hear America bashing and or Christian bashing. We are really talking about leftist black leadership (for President) and there is racism there but it is all over the left across the color spectrum so no one really pays it any attention. You want to find racism look left. Regarding the Indians willingness to fight I wasn’t trying to insult you I was trying to point out that you do have a choice, and I certainly hope that when the time comes you will make the right one. Have you ever even met an Indian because I and many of my ancestors have. We have always got along fine, no killing, no hatred, no problem.
    Cheers.

For the sake of others who may read and for the record I have not insulted you. If you continue to disagree please cite. On the other hand I have been insulted

    (”BS.”
“Lose the fear, vote with your mind.”
“The fact is that whites and blacks have changed roles we have gone in different directions, you know it, I know it, almost everyone knows it.”
“…American Indians were a warrior culture who went out fighting, they would never become slaves…” Ouch!
    …and most recently

    “Assalamu Alaikum”)

But despite that I have decided to attempt to see your points of view instead of engage in a frivolous battle of rhetoric.

“Are you interested in a crackdown (not that kinda crack) on the black panthers, how bout the nation of islam or la raza, or is it only certain groups that you want targeted?”

I never said I wanted any groups targeted. Humans have been given free will from the Most High. If He doesn’t force how can I? We have all fallen short of the glory of God. I would prefer that we as humans come together and reason. Lay the truth on the table. If Allah be God then serve him. If Buddha be praised then serve him.

“People are being slaughtered all over the world in the name of islam but you are frightened of the kkk.”

My picture is on an ultraconservative website and yours is not. Who’s fearful? Probably neither of us. As I have already implied the KKK appears to be washed up. There are several other white supremacist groups that are apparently more dangerous.

Guys, we must communicate more effectively if we are going to save the planet (or America). In order to do that I must try, no matter how difficult it is, to understand why you are “tired of being LABELED racist.”

You must also try to see why that may be a difficult pill for me (not the individual me) to swallow. In the end we should both become more understanding, not necessarily tolerant, and our presentations may alter and dare I say our outlooks may change. This would be for the good of mankind as a whole.

Not just closed minded, fearful, ignorant white men who in their hearts wish death upon anyone that doesn’t look like them. Not just closed minded, fearful, ignorant 5% NOI members who believe all Black men are gods and the white man is the devil. Not members of La Raza. Not members of The Order (Skull and Bones). Not virtually powerless thugs in Compton. Not seemingly infinitely powerful thugs in and behind the White House in D.C.

Diplomatic communication would be for the good of mankind as a whole.

With love and peace to you both.
    Amen.

    Assalamu Alaikum Charles Rey,
Why pose questions such as do we want to wipe out all muslims? Are you interested in a crackdown (not that kinda crack) on the black panthers, how bout the nation of islam or la raza, or is it only certain groups that you want targeted? People are being slaughtered all over the world in the name of islam but you are frightened of the kkk . At this point I am a lot less worried about them than you. You seem to be different sides of the same coin, they come out and state what they want you appear to be practicing dawa, using taqiya. Why if you are interested in dialogue and understanding would you come here hurling insults, asking for civility at the same time? My question is, as a muslim, what do you recommend? I recommend… Astaghfirullah! If I am wrong you have my apologies, but your posts do have a distinctly muslim flavor I have seen it before and often. If you are, don’t be ashamed to admit it. Don’t worry we wont need to wipe them out, they are dying to get to hell and they will try to take us with them. We wont need to do anything except reject islam and be alive. BTW don’t read too much into saved, I’m not here to save souls, take it up with God.

    Thanks for the civil response.

“I think its in every non Muslims interest to get rid of Islam.”

So of course you know that many will interpret what you are saying—incorrectly. So that we are clear; do you believe that the world must rid itself of not just Islam but its followers? If not how can non-Muslims rid the world of Islam without ridding itself of the followers of Islam?

“Eric, do you believe that the war on terror is being fought the way it should?”

No. It will ultimely be a political and demographic battle. Right now its being fought too PC. Too worried about feelings and not worried enough about winning.

“My question was ‘Do you mind Christianity being banned in the Eastern world?”

Do I think that Christianity should be banned in former Christian lands that were invaded and conquered by Islam? No. But I understand that in Islamic teachings and laws, its legit.

“I was trying to determine if you believe that the U.S. needs to help rid the world of Islam.”

I think its in every non Muslims interest to get rid of Islam.

    Alright,
I believe this is my last response. I’m tired of you guys being unnecessarily rude to me.

You did not quote me saying

if we wanted to really fight the war on terror we should go after the KKK.

You quoted me saying ‘If it really were a war on terror they’d arrest the KKK’.

Eric, do you believe that the war on terror is being fought the way it should? The point of that quote is that it is not. I think you would agree that it could be managed better. That the enemy could be pursued better. That’s pretty much what this site is about.

I understand why you misunderstood. The least you could have done was leave the “B.S.” statement out.

I know that Christianity is pretty much banned in the East (not just middle east). Several of my friends go to a small church in the region and were nearly blown up twice. Once by “insurgents” and once by military contractors. My question was ‘Do you mind Christianity being banned in the Eastern world?’

I was trying to determine if you believe that the U.S. needs to help rid the world of Islam.

Guys, I tend to cross pollinate with many types of people. I like to know different perspectives of an issue. That way I better understand why one individual or group thinks the way they do. I have learned that the reason for much of the bitterness humans have towards each other is due to a lack of knowledge for each other. If you are not interested in the same I’ll leave you to communicate exclusively with those who see the world exactly the way you see it.

Thanks for the forum anyway, Hammer.

“I never said that I believe that the Ku Klux Klan is worst than Al Qaeda.”

BS. I quoted you saying that if we wanted to really fight the war on terror we should go after the KKK.

“You do not want Islam in the West. Do you mind Christianity being banned in the Eastern world?”

They pretty much are. Try reading up on dhimmi laws and most of these lands were non Muslim at one point before the Islamic horde swooped in. Try wearing a cross in Saudi, the cradle of Islam.

“If it is a cancer here isn’t it a cancer everywhere?”

    Yes it is.

You used the ideology of being “saved” I will assume you claim the Christian faith. This will help with context.

I also agree that we need to start talking about the truth. I don’t “have to go back in time” to prove a point. However, I see yours. We must deal with the current issues/threats; agreed.

There is another side to that coin. How can we proceed intelligently into the future without admitting, understand, and guarding against the mistakes we have made in the past?

I never said that I believe that the Ku Klux Klan is worst than Al Qaeda. There are several other white supremacist groups that are far worst than the current– apparent– Klan. Al Qaeda and the groups that fund them ideologically and financially are also worse than the current– apparent–Klan.

I’ll do my best not to put words in your mouth. Don’t put them in mine, thanks.

On another note. I thought the post about the number of Saudi Arabians in Iraq was interesting. 41% huh?

Another question came to me. You do not want Islam in the West. Do you mind Christianity being banned in the Eastern world? If you ban it here what’s to stop you from asserting that it should be banned worldwide? If it is a cancer here isn’t it a cancer everywhere? Difficult problem to solve with a close-minded strategy (not saying that’s what you have). Wise as serpents but harmless.

    Elric66,
Sorry I thought you had gone to bed and I stepped out and didn’t check back on line when I came in. Yes by all means, bring out the kinda sorta Christian ox to gore, its the old reliable. When people reach back in order to validate their beliefs today, there is no doubt who has made progress.
    Charles Rey,
We would like to start talking about the truth above all. I don’t believe that anyone can be saved or united without first confronting the facts no matter how sensitive they appear to be. It seems that it is working and that’s a good thing IMHO. The truth will set you free to truly live free. I am not disagreeing that men have killed men for just about any reason imaginable and many times they do it under the guise of some ideology but c’mon, if you have to go back in time to find a bogeyman how will you ever face the menace that we are facing today?
