The Blog for a Year contest has ended. I didn’t win, but I’m quite proud of how many votes I received in the short time that I took part. The ratio of votes versus views of my profile was an unbelievable 1:2.76!
The winner was a blogger that goes by the name Absolutely True. It just goes to show you that it’s hard to compete with ‘fluff’ when you’re dealing in ‘bad news.’

This place is lonely without you Foehammer

I sure do agree with Patricia on that!
Now for another matter that I feel compelled to mention:
I want to call everybody’s attention to the latest assault upon the counterjihad blogosphere - this time in Australia:
Censorship! Is THIS what we want?
Seems they are following in the footsteps of Communist China. By pointing out why this is a bad thing to people who might not have given the matter much thought, maybe we can nip this pernicious effort in the bud.
I hope Gramfan will soon have time to write a much better article on this than anything I could do. I don’t have the first-hand experience of the Aussie political scene needed to address the issue properly. Not to mention the fact that I am once again plagued with computer failures (still waiting for replacement laptop, using loaned equipment) and viruses of the non-computer variety (respiratory). But I felt I had to say at least something about that issue before it disappears off everyone else’s radar screen.
Here are some links from around the blogosphere on issues that may be of interest to you:
German businessman facing prison for Qur’an on toilet paper
Dutch royal family involved in lobbying for Bosnian jihadists
GOV: UN favoritism toward Muslim refugees (also see this comment on another GOV article)
In a nutshell, the UN is foisting Muslim refugees, who are all too often unwilling to assimilate, on developed countries, while denying refugee status to endangered Christian populations who would eagerly assimilate if allowed to settle in the developed world.
What a shame.
Islam(ism) vs. Free Speech
Worshipping Pakistan’s A-bomb? Now THAT is SICK!
Why is Condi Rice aiding Islamic terrorists? This is TREASON!
Another counterjihad blog seems to have gone MIA.
http://leonthepigfarmer.blogspot.com/
Leon the Pig Farmer has been speaking up on behalf of UK blogger Lionheart, who is facing prison for exposing Muslim wrongdoing in England.
But now, I’m just getting a 404 on Leon’s blog.
Does anyone know what is happening here?
My own hosting company seems to be trying to shut me down.
Something is wrong Foehammer. I’ve tried for 2 days to get this site. I wanted to ask you what was happening and I wrote to the gmail.com address I thought was yours, I thought it might be foehammer, then the address. What I got back was someone said they were foehammer at x-box and that they were not associated with this racist muslim hating website and that they sure hoped I didn’t “hate Muslim’s too” as they’d known plenty of muslims and they are great people. I truly felt dirty after having that creep write, he could have just said no he’s not the one I was looking for but he went on and on. I thought, who’s the racist and hater here, it sure sounds like he is. Anyway, he said your website was “up” now and sure enough here it is. Gee I sure need the real Foehammer about now! Glad you are back and you’re missed hugely!
Patricia
If that blog won the blogging for a year award, it sheds a lot of light on the very sorry state of affairs we are all in. It’s incomprehensible that frivolous blather can rule the public realm and a whole lot of people’s attention to boot.
Patricia, sorry to say, the west is split into three groups of people:
1. Religious extremists, jihadists, supremacists and haters.
2. Those who speak their disgust of group #1.
3. Those who would rather attack group #2, ignoring group #1.
Disgust and concern is now called “hate”.
Sounder, Very well put!!! I do think the real Foehammer is right, his hosting company is either trying to shut him down or someone else is. Have you had trouble getting this site yesterday & today?
.
Everyone, put your ears on, and feel free to call in!
Lionheart Interview 1/17/08 Political Vindication Radio, 1/18/08 The Gathering Storm
Note that the date of the interview on The Gathering Storm has been changed from 1/11/08 to 1/18/08.
Patricia, yes during yesterday all through till this morning sometime the Anvil was not accessible to me either. The redirect page came up, thats all I could get.
Obviously Foehammer got the bug fixed.
No one among us should feel dirty for not endorsing and or ignoring that cruel ideology except for those like the one who emailed Patricia. However, we should feel dirty and disgusted knowing that there are those among us that do. To top it off many of these people think they are somehow superior by taking this stance, it is truly sick. Those who grew up knowing nothing but islam I can feel sorrow/pity for in many cases, for those that have not yet still see nothing wrong I have nothing but absolute disgust. Evidently the desire not to be converted or killed makes us racists, not sure about the logic behind that conclusion but I have to ask, drugs, mental illness, wet brain? There has to be a… root cause, I would think. T’aint normal.
I wish it had been a bug, but instead it was the intentional disabling of this site again by my hosting company LunarPages. I am no longer going to hide their part in the several times that the Anvil has gone offline unexpectedly. They outsource their support but claim that they do not. I am quite suspicious that what is described to me in nebulous emails from LunarPages as “script errors” that require blocking my site are simply transparent excuses made on the part of certain people that would much rather see this site off-line. LunarPages should be supportive of my blog for the very simple reason that I am a good customer and pay my bills and run a clean blog, but apparently that is not good enough anymore. Instead, I am expected to be bled dry for what little I might be able to afford in order to maintain a blog that has seen its traffic dwindle in no small part but as a result of such mischief as transpired earlier this week.
Between sites like Digg and my own hosting troubles, vicious personal attacks from religious zealots masquerading as anti-hate police and all the rest of the nuts that even have gone so far as to threaten my life, it can be of little wonder to anyone that is paying even scant attention that I am disgusted and no longer view this fight the same as I did a year ago.
The Internet is a battle ground between those who dare to put forth the Truth and those cowards that would run from it or those enemies that would hide it. Well, as I have intimated before, the Net is no longer enough. I will take my message and put it into play in new ways over the course of the coming decades. In time I will be vindicated on multiple levels by way of the simple expanse of history as it unfolds before us, but beyond that, I will do my own part in creative ways to defeat Islamism and the lemmings that would bring it to the USA.
A few bumps in the Information Highway are not going to stop me and they shouldn’t stop any of us that care about the Truth and the Future.
Good words tgusa. The complaint in my comment refered to that by having this rabid, racist creep in my mail box I felt dirtied. As though I had come into physical contact with him. I felt like I needed to spray Lysol on my computer and myself. I totally agree with what you said. Sounder and tgusa, thank you for your words today. And I feel better already having Foehammer here.
Foehammer, whatever you end up doing I want to support you in your herculean effort, in any way I can.
Patricia
Thanks Patricia.
This kind of thing, the hosting problems are similar to the days before the internet only in those days they firebombed the newspaper, beat up the editor, lynched a reporter or two. Now the whole world is a newspaper we can all be editors, reporters or analysts. So it’s not that easy anymore, like it was for the fascists of the past (their good old days) to just burn out the offending fish wrap. The fish is out of the wrap and they don’t like it one bit. New media, different world, same story. Internet hosting/filtering companies, the new jackbooted brown shirts hurling electronic Molotov cocktails in an effort to squelch the uncomfortable truth. The uncomfortable truth, it’s a lot worse than the inconvenient truth.
