Wondering how to keep track of news that matters most?   Jihad News Feeds

From the ashes…

What? I’m back?

Yes, it sure appears that way. Not only is the Anvil alive and kicking, it’s kicking harder than ever. I have given my old hosting company, LunarPages, the heave-ho, and if you are reading this, then you can be sure that this blog is no longer hosted by anyone that outsources their tech support, that hires people that can’t read, write and speak English fluently and that has hidden agendas within the company to make my life basically Hell on the Blogosphere.

My new hosting company will remain nameless for awhile as I settle in and wipe away the dust of several days of very hard work. Jihad News Feeds and some other web projects of mine still require migration from the old to the new host, so I will still be busily getting all things back to normal over the next few days.

I’m glad to have you back, too, gentle readers. It just wasn’t the same without you.

Uncle SamOh, and LunarPages? Good riddance. Seriously. I have learned the hard way that you definitely “get what you pay for” in the blogging business. Now I’m willing to pay quite a bit more in order to have my Free Speech actually free.

Hmm. There’s a lesson in there somewhere…

Thank you.

NOTE: The contact form and email addresses typically usable to get in touch with me may not be working while the server gets situated. This will iron itself out as the Net learns to point to the new servers.

RSS, podcasts and the like will also take a few days to re-synch with the site, so please don’t freak out if everything isn’t 100% overnight. The dust will settle soon.

    Great to see you back!

Your presence brings me a sense of relief because when you are up and running, I know that the 1st Amendment is alive and well.

Scary thing, in our little out of the way central PA town here, I saw last night two or three Muslims in our local Blockbuster. They were very well dressed. The young woman quite obviously pregnant wore a very nice hijab or head scarf. Her male companion wore nothing that bespoke Islam other than a beard. What is scary that they looked and spoke just like any other middle class white American from the burbs.

My conclusion is that this garbage is everywhere ensnaring one and with its tentacles.

Rage against the Islam because it represents the dying of the light.

Well, it might interest you to know that I plan on driving the Anvil into a direction slightly different from previous years. I will be tackling not just Islam, but ANY enemies of the one item that most of us should be concerned with first and foremost: the U.S. Constitution.

I now view those that refuse to protect our borders, the CFR, the NAU and Muslims all versions of the same type of threat. There are undoubtedly many other enemies that will enjoy similar examination as 2008 unfolds…

Thank you all very much. This time around, I suppose Anvil 2.5, I plan to optimize this site to take advantage of the superior hosting/server. I can promise you that you will never see a repeat of what transpired over the course of the past 6 months of decline.

I now have the much needed room to expand my readership to previously impossible levels and there should be far better performance by this blog for all even as those numbers increase.

It’s also time to retake my blog ranks — a guy has a certain reputation to uphold.

The plan (from New Year’s Eve) to not blog as often, still is in place, but I will make sure that when I do update the Anvil that it is always worth reading. Best of all, my time can now be devoted to actually blogging and podcasting and not fighting my hosting company!

    Who’d have thunk?

Islam: What the West Needs to Know
    FULL LENGTH ENGLISH VERSION
    Quixotic Media
    1 hr 38 min 41 sec

Main IdeaVirtually every major Western leader has over the past several years expressed the view that Islam is a peaceful religion and that those who commit violence in its name are fanatics who misinterpret its tenets. This claim, while widely circulated, rarely attracts serious public examination. Relying primarily on Islam’s own sources, this documentary demonstrates that Islam is a violent, expansionary ideology that seeks the destruction or subjugation of other faiths, cultures, and systems of government.

    Content
The documentary consists of original interviews, citations from Islamic texts, Islamic artwork, computer-animated maps, footage of Western leaders, and Islamic television broadcasts. Its tone is sober, methodical, and compelling.
    Featuring noted scholars:

    Robert Spencer
    JihadWatch.org
    The Truth About Muhammad

    Walid Shoebat
    Why I Left Jihad

    Bat Ye’or
    The Decline of Eastern
    Christianity Under Islam

    Serge Trifkovic
    The Sword of the Prophet

    Abdullah Al-Araby
    The Pen vs. Sword Publications

    Outline of the Documentary
    Introduction
We hear from prominent Western leaders that Islam is peaceful and that those who commit violence in its name are heterodox fanatics.

Part 1: ‘There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his Prophet’Our interviewees affirm their belief that Islamic violence is entirely orthodox behavior for Muslims and stems directly from the teachings and example of the Prophet Muhammad and the commands of the Koran. We learn that the example of Muhammad is one of a violent warlord who killed numerous people. The Koran – the verbatim words of Allah – prescribes violence against non-Muslims and Muhammad is the perfect example of the Koran in action.

Part 2: The StruggleWe learn that jihad, while literally meaning ’struggle’, in fact denotes war fought against non-Muslims in order to bring the rule of Islamic law to the world. Violent death in jihad is, according to the Koran, the only assurance of salvation. One of our interviewees tells of his personal involvement in terrorism and his leaving Islam.

Part 3: ExpansionFollowing the death of Muhammad, his ‘rightly-guided’ successors carried his wars to three continents, fighting, enslaving, and massacring countless Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Hindus, and others. Islam did not spread through evangelism or through its natural appeal, but through aggressive wars of conquest. The Crusades were largely a belated response on the part of Christian Europe to rescue Christians in the Holy Land suffering under Muslim oppression. The Muslim world today, while no longer the unified empire of the Caliphs, is exceptional for being responsible for the vast majority of conflicts around the world and for almost all of international terrorism.

Part 4: ‘War is Deceit’A great problem with Western efforts to understand Islam is due to the Islamic principle of ‘religious deception’, which enjoins Muslims to deceive non-Muslims in order to advance the cause of Islam. Muslim groups today in the West employ deception and omission to give the impression that ‘Islam is a religion of peace’, an utter fiction.

Part 5: More than a ReligionThe most important characteristic of Islam not understood by the West is that it is more a system of government than a personal religion. Throughout its history, Islam has never recognized a distinction between the religious and the secular/political. Islamic law governs every aspect of religious, political, and personal action, which amounts to a form of totalitarianism that is divinely enjoined to dominate the world, analogous in many ways to Communism.

Part 6: The House of WarIslamic theology divides the world into two spheres locked in perpetual combat, dar al-Islam (House of Islam - where Islamic law predominates), and dar al-harb (House of War - the rest of the world). It is incumbent on dar al-Islam to fight and conquer dar al-harb and permanently assimilate it. Muslims in Western nations are called to subvert the secular regimes in which they now live in accordance with Allah’s command. Due to political correctness and general government and media irresponsibility, the danger posed by observant Muslims in the West remains largely unappreciated.

    Heroaylwhyness,
Shoebat’s second book, Why We Want to Kill You, is even better than his first one.

On March 14, Mr. Shoebat is scheduled to be interviewed on The Gathering Storm Radio Show, which I cohost every Friday. We plan to discuss with him his second book and the controversy now surrounding his “credentials.” Not that I buy the attacks on his character and veracity. I don’t!

The film Islam: What the West Needs to Know is a must see! I’ve actually shown excerpts from the film to history classes.

I also believe that Quixotic Media is planning a second film. Watch for it!
