Even if you are a regular reader here, you may not have noticed that I have slightly altered the welcoming message at the top of the main page to the Anvil this morning. It has been changed as follows, the following lines being added:
“If you are not prepared to discuss all enemies of the United States Constitution and the Republic, turn back now. If you are ready to give up Western idealism and Europe itself, turn back now.”
I mean this sincerely. I have not been able to sleep tonight. It is 3:45 AM. I have much on my mind. Too much. In fact, it’s as if I’ve suddenly awakened to the old adage that the lunatics are running the asylum.
I’m willing to bet that many readers were shocked by my stand on the Federal Income Tax in yesterday’s article. Many would like to believe that such a tax is necessary and that I am overreacting or I am completely incorrect in my interpretation of the Constitution. Many would like to believe that our government works only towards the general good for the American people. Many more still would like to believe that we do not have reason to fear that treason could exist in the United States on a level with that of Nazis in Germany.
Sadly, I have barely begun to shock you all. I feel sometimes as if the dots that are connecting in my mind are making me crazy — but then I wake up like I did this morning and I go through information at light’s speed in my mind and the clarity is startling, and utterly disturbing.
You may very well think me mad before the end of the next few months because I now believe that traitors to our Republic do exist at the highest levels of U.S. government.
This is why this morning I am officially broadening the focus of the Anvil to more than just Islamism and illegal immigration and other foreign enemies. Enemies of the United States exist within us. Enemies of our Republic are obvious to me now. I will strive to make them obvious to you also. As I do my detective work, I will put forth my findings. This is now my priority, to protect the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
As the U.S. Armed Forces oath begins, I will emulate:
“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same…”
We are not a Democracy, my friends. We are a Constitutional Republic, which means that each one of us that is an American is, by condition of being a citizen of this great nation, granted inalienable rights that are to be protected with blood if necessary. We are a Republic that is under assault from within as well as without, and has been under such subversive attack for over a century. The treason is now transparent to me and it may very well manifest at levels higher in our government, and possibly even our parts of our military, than I ever would have imagined possible in my more idealistic youth. I wish it was not so clear to me on this day, but there you have it. There is my first warning shot.
Those that wish to believe I have lost my mind and might prefer to safeguard their own, I would venture to say that you should “turn back now” and not return to the Anvil again. I wouldn’t want to disturb everyone’s sleep. Where I’m heading I only require the attention of patriots, insomnia not necessarily included.
Stay tuned.
Foehammer, out.
