Today I’m bringing you some footage from one of the White House Correspondents Association dinners. This is a time when the elite in Washington, D.C. hob-knob with the very reporters that are supposed to be keeping an eye on them. It’s supposed all be in good fun. Supposed to be.
I’m not laughing.
These White House Correspondent dinners have contributed to the erosion of factual reporting in the United States. I’m sure everyone invited feels charmed and honored to be a part of events where a U.S. President shows up. Do not think for a minute that this isn’t a way to control the flow of information. Reporters should not be sharing dinners with politicians like this. Funny though it might be, thanks to the comedian, Steve Bridges, the reality is something else altogether. The Constitution is dying.
Prepare yourselves, gentle readers. As this year unfolds, I am going to become a Revolutionary. If you thought I had enemies before today, you ain’t seen nuthin’ yet.
I wonder how many people will be left laughing?

And on a side note, why oh why does our POTUS allow these people to demean him? Presidents have taken part in their own “roasts” before but they never participate to this extent.I have answered my own question, i.e. Bush is a buffoon.
