Rep. Steve King won’t back down from objective criticism of Obama

Bravo, Congressman Steve King of Iowa! It seems that Congressman King has caused a political firestorm in recent days by having the courage to actually proclaim to the world what I myself pointed out here for the first time at the Anvil way back in January of 2007, again in February 2007, and still further in March 2007. Most recently I wrote about this in an op-ed piece entitled: Criticism of Obama’s Muslim background is absolutely justified.

Rep. Steve King, Republican, IowaAs expected, Steve King is coming under slanderous assault from critics. They cannot destroy the grounds for his reasoning, so they tell everyone that he should never open his mouth in the first place. Ah, America! Land of the Free!?

Congressman King’s hot-water-words:

“I don’t want to disparage anyone because of their, their race, their ethnicity, their name - whatever their religion their father, father might have been,” King said just before doing just that.

“I’ll just say this that when you think about the optics of a Barack Obama potentially getting elected President of the United States — and I mean, what does this look like to the rest of the world? What does it look like to the world of Islam?

“And I will tell you that, if he is elected president, then the, the radical Islamists, the, the al-Qaida, and the radical Islamists and their supporters, will be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on September 11….

“It does matter, his middle name does matter. It matters because they read a meaning into that in the rest of the world, it has a special meaning to them. They will be dancing in the streets because of his middle name. They will be dancing in the streets because of who his father was and because of his posture that says: Pull out of the Middle East and pull out of this conflict.

So there are implications that have to do with who he is and the position that he’s taken. If he were strong on national defense and said ‘I’m going to go over there and we’re going to fight and we’re going to win, we’ll come home with a victory,’ that’s different. But that’s not what he said. They will be dancing in the streets if he’s elected president. That has a chilling aspect on how difficult it will be to ever win this Global War on Terror.”

Meanwhile, other political camps are running from this issue as fast as they can. I know, let’s not discuss the real issues! Just give us happy-happy-joy-joy nonsense over and over! Right, John? Right, Barack?

Obama spokesman Bill Burton: “These comments have no place in our politics, and we hope Senator McCain will repudiate them like he has previous offensive comments from his supporters.”

McCain spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker: “Our position on this is very clear. We are against the kind of politics that divide and degrade people in the process.”

Cowards. I know — let’s all go back to talking about Abortion!

Folks, I gotta tell you, it’s no coincidence that I still have a letter received from Congressman King proudly and magnetically attached to the front of my fridge!

Tell it like it is, Steve! Bravo!

Congressman Steve King of Iowa: One of the few good Representatives left in Washington, D.C. and an honest patriot. Why isn’t this man running for President? Oh, wait. We already know the answers to that one, and more than likely one big “why?” is because the Bilderberg Group would never support his candidacy.

Obama’s many dubious connections all added up…add up to a lousy choice for president. But the blue leftist’s (blue because they forget to breath, causing oxygen deprivation, resulting in mental aberration), swoon and fall all over themselves for political showmanship.
Barack is a one man show, a snake oil salesman, with live snakes in his
travel bag. Only people who would buy snake oil will vote for him.
But I hear snake oil sales among the left have increased. I don’t want to join the club, but I might like to buy some penny stocks…If Barack gets elected, at least I can make some ‘get away’ money from it…

Screw Obama. He is a nobody literaly. How is it possible that such a new politician can get this close the most powerfull seat in the world? The NWO/CFR have pushed him this far is how. Nobody cares that he spent the most impressionable time of his life living in another country worshiping a cult doctrine of murder and lies. The media wont talk about it. If the people stopped and thought about it what would happen to Obama. Lets see? We are going to elect a man from a muslim family that grew up outside of the US who is all for pulling out of the muslim countries and who supports insane socialist ideas that represent an enemy of the USA and the constitution? Oh and what exactly has he ever done? Oh thats right vote against the constitution and to pass and fund every inch of this war? Sounds like a winner to me.

I am so sick of these women propping him up. This guy is a tall lanky big eared putts. If this guy is attractive them I am Tom fucking Cruise. Over here girls! I mean come the hell on. This guy is about one of most doofy looking people to ever run for president.

All in all worry about who is VP will be because He wont make it a year into his term.

What king said is very true. No matter how much the obama mindless supporters deny the fact that he was a muslim and majority of the muslims view him as their own brother.

Islamists are blissfull to see that his supporters and NBC’s Tim and brian portrait him as 2nd comming and how not so proud wife declaring him as savior of american soul. What? Oh Yeah !

You will see them celebrate even if he gets nominated. Do you think Obama is going to care for the folks who are jumping up and down for his campaign? I doubt.. he will care only about his brother J. Jackson Jr.

Good luck folks! apply your mind a little bit and you will see clearly the deceptive man behind all this media protection.

None of the canidates are right for the job in my opinion. But certainly not Clinton or Obama. Obama has some serious issues, and his relationship with his heathen pastor make me question him even more. Clinton… my oh my, Clinton. We all know she’s not on the bright side of the box. And for all the females voting for her just to see a female president, please don’t. It will be much better to see a female president who can actually handle her self in a situation more stressful then how to keep her morning toast from burning. Clinton would just be a disgrace and make all women look bad for Presidency. McCain, I don’t really have as much against him, but he may be hiding behind lies. I don’t know all that much about the Presidental campaign, but about the War in Iraq… Why do so many people support pulling out. we’re more then half way in, we NEED to finish what we started, and what should have been finished a long time ago. Right now we’re trying to stabalize a government down in Iraq. If we leave now while it’s still unstable WHAT GOOD WILL THAT DO?! All the troops who have fought, and all the money spent on this goal, and to not even complete it… makes no sense to me. So that’s another reason most of the canadites need to stay away from Presidency, because we NEED to stay in until we’re DONE with what we went there to DO.
