This should not come as a surprise to my regulars, but I am going to make this official: I am on an indefinite hiatus from blogging here at the Anvil. This does not mean that I will never put an entry up. This does not mean that I will never do another radio interview or podcast. What this means is that I am taking three steps back and not slaving myself to this ship like I have done for upwards of 4 years now in various forms.
I want to stress how much I appreciate the support of my loyal readers and that includes the many hundreds that do not comment but that I know are reading. If I have managed to make any significant impact at all on the minds of a few, then all the toil has been worth it.
I could prolong this speech, but there’s really no point. Suffice it to say that I am back to my life which existed prior to September 11, 2001 and I am more aware than ever that enemies are at the gates and most of the world is clueless. I can not change this world alone, so I have striven to make a few ripples in the water. It is now up to those ripples to become waves.
You should fully expect me to post at some point (in the not too distant future) about the Presidential election and how you, the voters, should approach the voting.
You should also expect me to fire big verbal guns at a select few myths that still persist in these United States and that need to be expunged once and for all and investigated fully, the biggest fiasco being the events of September 11th, 2001.
I will save my fury for another day, but know that I am always watching, even if I don’t type as often.
Best wishes to you all.

@allahlovesporkchops: Thank you very much.
I will not post often like I used to, but yes, I will be posting at least a few times a month. There are always political, economic and global issues on my mind and I believe we are facing a critical time in history.
As long as the site remains self-sufficient and I remain alive, I will continue to blog.
Foehammer,
I was visiting this site during the time that you were first thinking of throwing in the towel. Then I (not sure why) couldn’t access the site at all. I feared you had given up and shut the site down. Today I was FINALLY able to get back on here. I’m SO HAPPY you have started to blog again. Through the last couple of years, I’d gathered together many sites that I tried to visit daily (I’m retired with LOTS of time on my hands). Eventually, I realized that I had to whittle down the number of sites I visited, so I wasn’t spending 16 hours a day on the innertube. You’re on my ‘Top 5 List’ of sites to visit daily. A very heart-felt Welcome Back to you.
Vagabond sheep boy Is on the Lam. lol
Hit the road jack and don’t come back, no Mo
Looks like Vagabond Hideous got his Thanksgiving holiday furlow from the mental institution ealry this year.
Thorum: What have you done for me lately?
Well, I think that’s a legitimate question considering the context of your comment. Is my irony wasted on you though?
Careful that you don’t wake the lion, kid. I’m never far from the cave.
And, frankly, I don’t need allies like you. Nobody does.
If you want to ask someone about the drug related advertisements, I think you better go ask Google. They apparently have given up on contextual advertisements. Or perhaps they are the latest inductees into the New World Order. It makes me chuckle just to think about.
To my supporters: I’m thankful that so many of you continue to send me good wishes. However, I’m still sorry to say that I have no clear expectations about returning to blogging. However, never say never. I may appear again here or somewhere else when I am needed most.
I just visited your site today for the first time. And the last. You certainly aren’t anyone to look up to nor be proud of. You write as if you are an ego-maniac with an inferiority complex. You splash your pages in Red, White and Blue, advertisements for drugs, pick a “STRONG” name and now have given up. You have lost. We should all be thankful you are not a soldier. Desertion is unforgivable. Bloggers such as us have a duty to carry on. To hear the crying from you and the likes of 1389 is sickening. “Leave the country and never come back”? “Sham elections”? “Slaving myself to this ship”? :Tears flowing: Sorry to be sharp, but I am as pissed as you. We shall carry on. Best of luck. Thorum.
Missed you Forehammer
I will never give up the fight for our freedoms and the ideology of our founding fathers. I will defend my Country against all enemies, foreign or domestic.
Maybe the next four years will wake up fellow Americans who have denied or mind slept though the last 20 years or so.

I will never give up on the freedoms and ideology of our forefathers who made America great. I will defend America from all enemies foreign or domestic.
These next four years will be an awaking for those who have ignored or mind slept through the last 20 yrs.
God Bless America.

Hello Foehammer,
I hope you manage to get on top of your life. Your anger and hatred are negative emotions and if you hang on to them, they will consume you like cancer. If you learn to love life and everyone in it (including those that don’t look or think like you) you will be rich man.
