This should not come as a surprise to my regulars, but I am going to make this official: I am on an indefinite hiatus from blogging here at the Anvil. This does not mean that I will never put an entry up. This does not mean that I will never do another radio interview or podcast. What this means is that I am taking three steps back and not slaving myself to this ship like I have done for upwards of 4 years now in various forms.
I want to stress how much I appreciate the support of my loyal readers and that includes the many hundreds that do not comment but that I know are reading. If I have managed to make any significant impact at all on the minds of a few, then all the toil has been worth it.
I could prolong this speech, but there’s really no point. Suffice it to say that I am back to my life which existed prior to September 11, 2001 and I am more aware than ever that enemies are at the gates and most of the world is clueless. I can not change this world alone, so I have striven to make a few ripples in the water. It is now up to those ripples to become waves.
You should fully expect me to post at some point (in the not too distant future) about the Presidential election and how you, the voters, should approach the voting.
You should also expect me to fire big verbal guns at a select few myths that still persist in these United States and that need to be expunged once and for all and investigated fully, the biggest fiasco being the events of September 11th, 2001.
I will save my fury for another day, but know that I am always watching, even if I don’t type as often.
Best wishes to you all.

Have you thought of moving to Canada? Your mental health issues wouldn’t be a financial burden.
To the TROLL, SHAUN…Have YOU thought of moving to Canada? You’d feel right at home with the other socialists.

At the urging of at least one reader, I’ve decided to resume blogging on an occasional basis. Foehammer, if you want me to post anything on your behalf, just let me know.
I left a similar message on my own blog, to wit:
This is one of the saddest things I have ever felt it necessary to write, and that is saying a lot.
Hey.. have been goin thru ur blog since a couple of weeks now. Pretty interestin stuffin there. Gud work.. Think u shd book a button on www.blogertize.in under the “Political Circus” segment. The content is quite rich.. think it’ll give u sum more exposure

I’m trying something to get beyond preaching to the choir.
R. Hartman, thank you. I shall check it out!
@Patricia,
Maybe this is of interest to you:
Michael Badnarik on the Federal Reserve System
There are more very informative video’s on YuoTube by MB, among others a series on the Bill of Rights.
Your archives are still here with the truth for anyone who wishes to find it. Hope you come back soon.
Foehammer, I wish you were back so we could discuss the implications of today’s headlines at the Drudge Report:
June 26 (Bloomberg) — Federal Reserve officials are reviewing regulations that limit investment firms’ stakes in banks in an effort to channel more capital into the U.S. banking system.
When you have the energy and time again to post here I hope to see more about the F.R. information you have. It’s all been so informative. I respect your hiatus but eagerly await your return.
Patricia
I am on hiatus at my own web site, though I am occasionally posting HERE and HERE — and still doing the weekly BTR show.
But I surely would like to have my pre-9/11 life back! At this point, I plan to spend less time watching the oncoming train wreck with Islam and Western dhimmitude.
Wishing you all the best, Foehammer!
Hi Foehammer,
Sorry to read this, but I can fully understand. It’s one of the reasons my own blog is so irregular. Of course I also blog on two Dutch sites and then there’s DutchConcerns, which is not in my native language, thus requires translating most of the time. And then still, NL is just a fly on the world’s map, although I feel what’s happening here is indicative for the current way of the West. But terms like NSB (the Dutch Nazi movement during WWII) do not mean very much to the rest of the world. Nevertheless, the current government and its supporters are very much akin to the NSB, collaborating with the iNazis (international socialists) and obviously with islam (exactly like the Nazi’s, by the way). It’s high treason, whichever way you look at it. I refer to Balkenende’s gang (de Balkenbende) as neo-NSBers.
One would say it’s high time for another Guy Fawkes action, but the practicality of such an action is pretty remote, as most of us still have far too much to lose. The main factor for me is not so much what I’ve worked for and gained in the process, but the fact that I have a family I’m responsible for. I guess that goes for most people at the moment. In the face of fascists that’s a strong consideration, as it gives our foes a strong handle on us. But at the same time, I strongly feel it’s better to die in freedom than to live under oppression. I just cannot force that conviction onto my loved ones, so I guess it boils down to lack of guts. Or respect for my loved ones. You make the pick. It’s a diabolical situation.
Hang in there, and keep up the good work.
I am really sorry to hear that. I have always enjoyed reading your blog and the directions you had been heading in recently were the exact same directions my research has been taking me. So I was looking forward to reading more.
I can understand why you would want to take a break though, it must be incredibly time consuming to not only do the research, but then blog about it.
All the best and I look forward to reading your occasional posts.
Everything Sounder has said. Look after yourself
Foehammer, best wishes in all you choose to do, or not do!
