The Atlanta Journal-Constitution says a Muslim woman was cited for contempt of court yesterday because she refused to remove her hijab, a head covering that she wears for religious reasons.
The paper says Lisa Valentine, 40, was arrested on charges of violating a policy that bars headcoverings inside the Douglasville, Ga., courthouse. A judge ordered her to spend 10 days in jail, but the paper says she was released a few hours later.
“I can’t believe someone would do this in America,” Omar Hall, the woman’s husband, tells the Journal-Constitution. He says they’re planning a lawsuit.
Municipal Court Judge Keith Rollins tells the Associated Press that “it would not be appropriate” for him to comment on the case.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations, an advocacy group, has called on the Justice Department to open a civil-rights investigation.
Oh, I can’t believe someone would do this in America either, Omar. I can’t believe that someone would come here and try to hide their face in a court of law and then expect the entire nation to jump into lockstep with anyone’s religion! But I’m lying right now. I admit it. I knew damn well Muslims would start to do this. Why else would I develop this blog if I didn’t see the danger on the horizon.
I believe it and I’m not happy about it.
Bring on your lawsuit. I hope that judge files a counter suit against Ms. Valentine and CAIR.

It’s logical: no one can swear that woman was who she was saying she was. But the judge has had the guts to confront this kind of behaviour…
Oh, no, sorry, I thought it was a niqab.
In this case, she just disobeyed a direct order from the judge, so she was condemned, not because of wearing hijab but because she didn’t follow the judge’s orders. Anyone would have been condemned in that case.
Victimization, theatrics. That’s all this is all about.
We need more judges like him. Correction, we need all our judges to be like him.
That judge probably has no career left once Obama steps in. That Soros puppet will do away with anyone who still thinks straight.
