As I sit here and prepare to go party out 2009, I think I’ll be upbeat. I’ve seen a lot of things to be happy about in the last half of 2009, despite a lot of things that should have never happened. So, that said, here’s the biggest thing I’ll take into 2010: Americans are waking up.
That’s right, USA, I see that a lot of you aren’t asleep like you have been and this is worth celebrating. Many of you are still capable of thinking for yourselves and upholding the vision of the Founding Fathers. George Washington would be proud.
What will 2010 hold for us? That remains to be seen, but as long as we keep our wits about us and stand resolved, nothing can tear us asunder.
We’ll be alright, in other words.
Oh, and I’m back in the fight again, blogging steadily for the first time since 2006, so sleep a little better. My blog rankings and Twitter followers are chugging up as I type this, despite the “blog gremlins” from the Middle East. Look in your mirror, bloggers, cause that object is definitely closer than it appears. Choo-choo! Chugga-chugg-chugga-chugga…
Wishing you all a bright and happy 2010 wherever you might be.
Foehammer, out.
PS Don’t forget this most important resolution in 2010: Vote out the incumbents!

You are right Foehammer! Happy 2010 to you!
